The tax evasion stuff is easier to pin directly to Trump. But it's going to take a monumental effort to untie all of legal/financial wrangling he's set up.

Just indict him for all potential crimes and let a jury decide which ones they prove beyond a reasonable doubt or not. A strong case can be made for multiple charges and multiple crimes.

And they want an airtight case, going against a former President with lots of power and resources to defend and deflect. It won’t be easy.
