This is a mind set you need to move on from. This is never ending really. The virus is here for good but the vaccines prevent serious illness so unless you plan on wearing a mask and sociallly distancing forever then it is time to move on. If you have symptoms stay away from people otherwise live your life.

No. I like my mindset just fine. The people spreading the disease are a-holes who care about themselves and damned little else.

They come in all party flavors, all races - the only requirements are ignorance and lack of empathy. You can have the disease and have no symptoms, and spread it around. The only way to beat it, is for just about everyone to either be vaccinated, or get the disease, and be MINDFUL that regardless, you can still unknowingly spread it. So you take the necessary precautions, regardless.

So when I see you, maskless and stupid, or worse, wearing it like a chin-strap, I know you are both ignorant and selfish. You loudly proclaim it for all to see. You do not care, during a pandemic, if you spread the disease around. Your concern for your fellow humans is zero. Your behavior is that of an entitled toddler.

You are a POS.

The NFL is doing the correct  thing other wise it could not survive. Only testing vaccinated when symptomatic. I have posted the numbers every week and there is less than a 1% chance of hospitalization when vaxxed. There is no super vaccine coming that prevents infection so you either live your life or hide from people forever. Those are your choices that’s it

Yeah, I don't really care enough to get into a huge debate about this. I just wanted to laugh at the guy who was terrified of getting coronavirus because another dude's mask slipped below his nose and went on social media to cry about it.

I am ignorant and selfish because I am vaxxed and living my life. You are a complete moron

A few weeks ago at Deptford mall about 30% with masks I highly doubt all were unvaxxed. And many with masks didn’t even wear them correctly and no one I saw had the correct ones

This. Guidance says that the unvaccinated need to take more precaution, wearing masks in public, etc. But this isn't reality. When you encounter somebody in public wearing one, chances are they are likely vaccinated already. People who are following guidelines are taking it seriously, have likely taken several measures to limit spread. Those who are not following guidance, are not taking this seriously, are the ones prolonging the pandemic.

Asymptomatic spread was greatly overhyped at the beginning of the pandemic. That overhyping has created paranoia that's caused severe mental issues in liberals like toaster here. Very sad, but coronavirus misinformation has consequences.

Let me guess, you’re an "independent conservative”

Why are Republicans so ashamed of who they are?

In my book, a Republican is registered to vote Republican.  An independent is not registered with a political party.  I am not registered.  I do not trust political parties and find them inherently self serving.  The Republican party help cause the financial crisis of 2008.  The democratic party seeks to over expand government authority.  Both are inherently corrupt in different ways.

I guess that's a difficult concept for you to grasp that a voter is permitted to think independently and is not bound by party constraints.

Whatever you have to tell yourself dude.  If you vote with one political party every single time and parrot all their talking points, you're a member of that party.  Sucks that you're ashamed of it.

I've had it already and I am vaxxed.  I'm done wearing masks where they aren't required...which is still most places. Feel free to think of that what you will...I don't care.

Vaxxed and asymptomatic and being around others than are vaxxed there is virtually no danger. Not my job to protect the unvaxxed, The immunocompromised should take greater precautions. I know some of you want to believe covid is going away but it is not.

I tend to agree with your approach.  You have to give people carrots (i.e.  if you get vaccinated, you can stop wearing a mask).  I think most medical professionals get this too.

Living in a US territory I have never even actually voted Democrat.  I don't agree with about 50% of the things the Democrat party does or says.  But who would I be kidding if I didn't call myself a Democrat?  I've rooted for them in every single national election and about 90% of the state wide ones.

Some people like to virtue signal, they think their mask is a sign of great moral superiority and as you can see get angry when others don't do what they want.

I try not to fart in elevators.  If that makes me morally superior well it's only because YOU are leaving the bar so low.

I am not angry. I am disappointed.

Seems like the vaccine is pretty ineffective at preventing one from getting the omicron variant, but seems very effective at keeping you out of the hospital and dying. My aunt tested positive for covid last week.  She's extremely vulnerable, overweight, COPD, had pneumonia a few months ago and was so bad she needed an oxygen tank and a walker. She was vaxxed but not boosted. So far covid has been like the flu or a really bad cold for her. The 2 shots she did get probably saved her life.

I agree and when a vaccine comes along that prevents farts from stinking...bombs away. I have my vaccines for covid so my bar is higher than many. If it disappoints you that I have vaccinated and choose to live my life then so be it.

The omicron variant is pretty good at preventing most hospitalizations and deaths regardless of vaxx status. It's mostly very mild.

Hope your aunt recovers soon.

Do you show your Vax card to everybody in the elevator?  No, dumb arse.  That's why it's really about politeness.  The random people you come in contact with don't need the hassle of guessing.

Then they should get vaxxed and have a less than 1% chance of getting  hospitalized, takes the need for guessing away

Being vaxxed and asymptomatic  there is almost zero harm to others that are vaxxed but I am supposed to socially distance and wear a mask for the rest of my life

Some people can't handle the truth. If they want to take extra precautions then good for them but I have done my part and saying I am a POS for living my life is complete lunacy
