same story is beautiful nepa. some are bored...some are really f'n angry.

the purpose of the shutdown was so everyone didn't get the rona at once & overwhelm hospitals...that seems to have mostly worked.  but now folks don't want to following the re-opening protocols because masks take away their freedom or make them look like a ****....idk.  i have a feeling most of us will get it eventually...especially if a vaccine is still months (years?) away.  but i'm still washing my hands like a mofo...and wearing a mask to protect the idiots who don't wear them.

Yeah, I hear you.  My mask is always on in public, and I carry hand sanitizer in my car which I have never done.  I think alot of people now are just like, uk it.  If I get it I get it.

I think the biggest issue is that businesses have been closed for 3 months now.  That's where the most pressure is coming from.  I mean even with PPP loans and such, it's absolutely devastating to small businesses and their employees who are laid off and unable to get UC because it's a total clusterF right now.  They've lost basically a quarter of revenue.

definitely.  the most angry folks i'm seeing are small business owners who are getting crushed...and i might be the same way if i had no $$$ coming in & saw liquor stores being allowed to open.  it was a no win from the start.  stay shut down & kill some small businesses or open up & people get sick (and some die).

We aren't seeing the effects of the protests yet genius.

Of course we are. There’s no lie you won’t tell.

The incubation period for COVID-19 is thought to extend to 14 days, with a median time of 4-5 days from exposure to symptoms onset. One study reported that 97.5% of persons with COVID-19 who develop symptoms will do so within 11.5 days of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

For me, death. We could have fought this and won. Other countries did it.

Testing, quarantine and contact tracing. But it would infringe on dirtflakes' rights. The White House is doing it just the way smart countries have, they just don't think it matters doing it for the likes of you and me. If a quarter of a million of us die, who cares?

this.

if we had testing in place, the re-opening could've happened sooner in a lot of areas.

It hasn't been 11 days since the date of your post with Cooper yet either dingus.

The protests have been going on nationwide since 5/27 liar. Do the math dope.

Same.  We're deciding whether to keep the boy in QYBA.  They plan on moving on with the Colts league once it goes full green.  The other ones are starting practice soon.  I just don't know if I want to deal with it.  I usually asst coach for my kid's team but I don't want to be out there in dead of summer with a 'ukn mask on trying to yell at the little Fers to stop playing with dirt and pay attention.  That and they have to get temp checked before every practice/game.

Then how would you explain the numbers in NYC decreasing where there have been some of the most protests?

Jesus.  That is gonna suck!  Coaching that level is bad enough sober without a mask on.

Yeah.  "Mask for close player interactions".  At that level you can't yell from a dugout.  You spend half the time picking them up and moving them to the right position.

I honestly feel bad for you.  Colts is like a T-Ball sheet show, but with a pitching machine.  Or did they change it to coach pitch a few years ago?  If any of your kids play travel ball that is actually decent because all of the kids on those teams WANT to play baseball.  They’re not doing it because their parents need a baby sitter for a few hours a week.

Don't remember exactly what day they started. Just knew it was either this weekend or next week is when we start seeing the definite results from the protests

Can't/won't happen. Trump will fight it to hold on to his dimming re-election chances. More importantly, no chance the US population will comply again. Will be utter chaos if they try to lock it down again.

Yeah that was a one shot deal.  Any further shutdowns would be localized to the region of the outbreak if they even happen at all.

I did T-ball last year.  I really generally enjoy coaching but I wanted to murder a couple kids on my team.  If I was a parent of these kids I would have drug them off the field by their ear on a few occasions.

I coached my daughter in softball from t-ball up and never had a problem.  Think girls are easier at a young age in general.  Flag football was challenging but parents of kids playing football generally don't care if you're hard on them.  Even got the kid who would cry every time we put him on the field for a game to play the last game without crying finally.

Even locally it would be a disaster.  Can you imagine the meltdown people would have if a month from now someone told say Bucks county they need to lock down again?

It seems odd to me that in a sparsely populated red state you're seeing a huge spike "from protests" but numbers are going down in highly populated left leaning states like Illinois and NY. Makes no sense. I'm not saying those states won't see spikes. They probably will. I'm just telling you not to fall for zuker's "all of the countries problems can be blamed on democrats" nonsense.

He was killed 5/25, protests in Minneapolis 5/26, nationwide 5/27. That’s 15 days ago. Median incubation period 4-5 days, over 90% of all cases in under 11 days. We’re already seeing the numbers, liars just won’t admit it.

when were the heavily armed we wanna get a haircut protests....and was there a spike in rona cases after that?

People don’t appreciate how tough it is and it’s all volunteer work.  And there’s nothing wrong with having at least one kid on every team that you want to murder.

reminds me.. a local kid from CB East was drafted #24 overall last night by the Rays.  Nick Bitsko is his name.  Had an offer from UVA after 8th grade.  He’s 17 now.  If he gets a deal done, he just became a millionaire over night.

Yeah all you hillbillies waving confederate flags at the speed way doesn't contribute to the numbers at all

We have pretty cast iron proof that's not how it works.  Look at Florida, just now exploding as people said they would a month ago.  You probably have to wait for these protesters to spread it in their homes and communities for a few weeks and then you will see the blow up sometime in July.

Also look at the evidence that China was infected since earlier than we knew and so was New York.  Apparently this thing really likes to stew and marinade before just blowing up exponentially.

It could be many things and I don't remember the timelines of certain events that have happened. Could just be people in NC have just not been using masks or keeping their distances 🤷‍♂️

I mean it's not like it's going to go away. If the protests are truly the cause then we'll see a spike globally soon

Forgot about that. Don't remember when those happened either

I heard of him. that's awesome. even though he's cb west (cant help it with my pennsbury connection), I hope he does well. I coached, managed and eventually was the cal ripken and travel commissioner in our league when my older son played. he had talent but no drive to put in the work to really go. loved coaching. anything above that I wanted to murder parents, not kids.
