But to be fair, Italy, Spain, and the UK (not included above but similar) all have significantly higher death rates per capita than the US does. Almost double. I think this virus tore into a much larger segment of the vulnerable populations in regions of Spain and Italy, resulting in a faster burn but a shorter curve. America is more spread out and uneven in its policy towards this, so we're seeing some areas spike then recede, only to see other areas spike. Mostly because our politics has crowded out good sense, but whatever.
June 15, 20205 yr I work at a retirement community with about 900 residents/staff total positive cases (we are tested weekly) is up to 16 all of the positive cases have been asymptomatic 15 of 16 have recovered, the one death was a resident who was already on hospice prior to testing positive
