If we stop taking police reports, we would have very little crime, if any.

If I stop making my mortgage payments I won’t have a mortgage.

Trump might be onto something here

One is not like the others.

Of course, only Trumpsky had the perfect response to Coronavirus.

You have to be be a complete moron at this stage to still want to vote for this imbecile.

How stupid does Donnie feel about the whole wall thing, all he had to do to eliminate illiegal immigration was stop asking people for their papers!

There you go trumpbots, your worst fears have been solved!

I work at a retirement community with about 900 residents/staff

total positive cases (we are tested weekly) is up to 16

all of the positive cases have been asymptomatic

15 of 16 have recovered, the one death was a resident who was already on hospice prior to testing positive

But if you stop the testing, coronavirus will disappear - Donnie said so! Magic!

That's funny because I have a neighbor who also works in a retirement community and has lost at least 20 residents at this point.

This thing is so unpredictable I think. My friend works in a retirement community as well she said 2 residents got it and 1 employee all recovered

Most i think didnt want to vote for him in the 1st place.  They were given no choice.

Kinda like 2024 is shaping up.

Senile good for nothing/has done nothing old timer in 40 years of government politician or trump?

you see the conundrum we’re facing?

You are welcome to talk yourself into voting for him again but it isn’t even close between Biden and Trump. And that’s not because is Biden is a great candidate - it’s just how absolutely awful and an idiot Trump is as a president and person. You could have used the he is an unknown argument last time (which was always silly) but even that’s out of the window at this point.

Best thing for Republicans (and everyone) is to move on from this joke of a presidency and set up for someone who could actually be good (*cough* Nikki Haley *cough*)

Who cares?  I mean, this is the kind of difference you point out when you have two reasonable candidates to contrast.  If Rubio were running against Romney, you'd say that about Romney because they're both reasonable adults running against each other and you need to look closely at the details.  But in this race?  Seriously, who cares how much experience Biden has?  Whether Biden had 2 years or 200 years in government, it wouldn't change the fact that Trump's an actual lunatic who actively, intentionally makes every problem in this country worse.  Nothing positive will ever come with this guy in charge, no matter what your ideology is, because he won't let it happen.  He'll interject his personal issues into everything and F it up.  It's a 100% guarantee.

Trumps pretty much gone crazy on Twitter no doubt.  But before covid and the Minneapolis nonsense things were relatively stable and the economy on the rise.  Jobs were flowing.   Im not going to sit here and look for trump as a scapegoat for all our problems right now.  And im not going to say i think he deserves another 4 years either. He has handled the tough times incompetently at best.

but biden is a pathetic candidate. Not only is he incompetent but senile.  You want a puppet in the white house that’s what you will get with biden.  M

why in the f didnt he run In 2016 if he is so viable?  He is 4 years older and 4 years more senile.  Hillary was the choice over him in 2016.  Jesus christ man im not defending or taking sides for either of these clowns but dont act like this is some no brainer or that one is so much better than the other

have fun In the voting booth.  Im sitting this one out.

Biden didn’t run in 2016 because he was mourning the death of his son from cancer. The guy is a human being FFS.

And watching anyone choose Trump because someone else is "not only...incompetent but senile,” is legitimately hysterical.

This decision is a lot easier than you're making it out to be. You just don't want to vote Democrat.

I am sure all the Trump supporters are ecstatic, since Trump is giving them another first:

What will be the first major gathering of people in the post-COVID world?

Why a Trump reelection rally in Oklahoma where 20,000 drumpftards will spread COVID to each other while slobbering the knob of a president more corrupt than Buchanan.

The George Floyd protests?

20,000 people in one room first. Outdoors is not as good of a disease incubator.

most protesters were wearing masks from what I saw. there were some that weren't, but most were. the shots you'll see on the news are going to be the most compacted areas, and even in those for the most part I saw masks, and that makes a difference.

Tulsa is going to be a bunch of people in a closed air environment. my guess is they'll eschew masks, but we'll see.

masks are for 'ussies!

Soros provided us with antidote and bricks before the protests so we good.

That's not a real answer though. You can't prevent people from protesting. Obviously you or me are going to think it's ill-advised. A rally where face masks aren't required held by the president? Straight up inexcusable. I'm not really all that upset about it though. Let them do it.

It's a powerful corticosteroid used pretty commonly for reactive airway disease and COPD. Slowish onset but long lasting effect.  Steroids are part of a lot of sepsis/respiratory failure protocols as an anti inflammatory so I imagine some form of steroid is used on many of these critically ill patients in the US, albeit maybe not that same one. So I'm curious if they're comparing dex vs other steroids like methylpred, or are giving dex to people early in presentation. If it's comparing dex vs no steroids at all this is a bit less exciting than they're making out unfortunately.

This makes sense considering the theory that COVID triggers an inflammatory cascade mechanism causing lung damage.

Plus: Albuquerque police will no longer respond to some 911 calls, the Federal Reserve creates a perverse incentive for corporations to borrow more heavily, and more...

There's probably no better demonstration of the nonsensical nature of America's ongoing coronavirus lockdowns than the scene that played out on Monday at a children's playground in Brooklyn.
