January 14, 20223 yr Fun-fact: Napoleon's height was actually pretty average for a Frenchman of his time.

Who is really cuckoo? https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/health/federal-government-caused-monoclonal-antibody-shortage-says-medical-supplies Federal government caused monoclonal antibody shortage, says medical supplies CEO The CEO said the current government-controlled process "is not the solution and isn't working." missed this because I'm actually working. first of all ... justthenews.com is another in a long list of super-right slanted BS sites. that said, I read the article (and was happy to find it didn't give me a virus. yet.) it's sloppy nonsense. it's not news; it's a quote from a medical supply company CEO, who I dunno might have a conflict of interest or two. he makes a claim that's not corroborated, just accepted, that suggests there's states with monoclonal antibody treatments sitting around doing nothing while other states have none. I found nothing supporting that statement - it appears to be pure conjecture. there is absolutely a shortage of treatments, but it's because supply is outstripped by demand. because COVID is real, and a lot of people are being hospitalized regardless of how many times Omicron is called a mild cold. so yeah, you're cuckoo.

Aw, unless something is from the left wing MSM it doesn't count. You are so out of touch with the silent majority in this country. Here's a newsflash - last year, monoclonal antibodies were readily available for all who needed in Fla. I know people who were successfully treated with them. Now they are not. Another treatment option scuffled by the federal government.
January 14, 20223 yr Doubling down with anecdotal nonsense. Let's see how that works out.. Last year the primary mAb was from Regeneron. And these mAbs were distributed mainly to Florida and Texas because they were dealing the most with Delta. Against Omicron, Regeneron is not effective. One of the mAbs that IS effective is from GSK. And it's in short supply everywhere. Because it wasn't until the last month that we've been able to sort out which treatments are actually effective with this new variant. Things change. It's not some vast ef'ing conspiracy. Nobody is sitting on a bunch of treatments because DeSantis is a ****. We're literally here waiting for shipments. As a nation. Not as Republicans and Democrats.

January 14, 20223 yr It turns out denying people potential life-saving drugs based solely on their skin color is not a popular decision. Completely disgusting that it took public outcry to draw attention to the policy but better late than never.
