I don't get it. Kid was awesome in school and now all the sudden can't learn all because of a facemask? At 10 years old? Something doesn't add up.

All manner of verbal and emotional cues are lost when facial expressions are hidden. For kids already struggling to keep up, this has been devastating.

And what if these damn Chinese tripping around in the bat caves f’d up in a lab and it went global?   Since we don’t know how or if they did it, how in the heck do you test for it?   Other than starting with the SARS tests we already have and developing new ones.  That’s how.  900K is nothing to sneeze about.  Keep living in your pretend world.

Oh boy, from bat caves to labs and 900K dead.......SMH

I'll give you a piece of advice, don't watch mainstream media news, they're being given a script of lies to read by those running this scam.

They haven't isolated the virus because there is no virus, anybody dying now is dying from complications of the vax.

BTW, no virus has ever been isolated because they don't exist!!

Rockefeller Medicine, aka Big Pharma, latched onto germ theory (research germ theory vs terrain theory to understand) and dreamed up the virus for profit.

To understand the the 900K dead, listen to this Funeral Director.

Believe me when I tell you, the worse is yet to come so the first stage was accurate.

I don't disagree but for different reasons. More and more people are getting pissed with every leak and revelation.

Grew up in Newark technically, but basically Hockessin. Off Limestone Road.

North Star?  Jarrell Farms?

Wow. Ainsley Woods, which was basically the part of Jarrell Farms further away from Limestone Road. I lived on Jarrell Farms Drive from age 9 until I graduated.

I know the area well.  I grew up in Heritage Park.  My parents are off of Little Baltimore Road now.  I live off of Kirkwood Highway, near Milltown Road.  So I am on Limestone Road and North Star Road all the time.

I’m anxious to see where we are in a few months.  While I am not totally for mandates, there are some people that need to listen.  Perhaps it was the wrong move to impose them. We won’t know until years from now.  If there is an outbreak nearby I will certainly do what I can to not catch it.  Wearing a mask during these times, and limiting exposure does not bother me in the least.

I had an appointment today and reported that I was sick in December (didn’t need to call them) and tested negative.  Both doc and his wife (a nurse practitioner) had it.  She said it most likely ran thru everyone.  She tested negative one day, positive the next, negative again the next day.  For me, I probably tested too early.  Day 2 of symptoms.  I asked if it feels like bronchitis and she said yes.  Mr Di’s sister just recently got it and is getting better.  Same thing.  Feels like bronchitis.

For us oldies something like bronchitis is not a mild cold.  It takes weeks to feel normal. If we were all unvaccinated no telling how sick we all would have gotten.    My son is unvaccinated, didn’t test and pretty sure he had it after being with people testing positive.  Fever and fatigue no coughing.  Symptom free by day 3-4! I was also around him while symptomatic and I did fine.   That’s why I think I had it.   Such a strange virus.

Living what life I have left but guard still up.  It is still a novel virus after all.

The thing with Omicron is that it is so contagious that it is nearly impossible to avoid exposure. We’ve known that since Xmas. The good news is that the need to hospitalize is very very low especially if one is vaccinated. That is the bottom line.  Use your guards as you need to.

I could see it maybe causing some emotional maladjustment in young kids who don't understand what's going on, but I get the sense that this type of parent just joins in the pity party instead of explaining the situation and helping them understand it as a minor, temporary challenge that they can overcome.

You might be right about this parent but what I don’t understand is how you can spend so much time pointing to experts on all other items (rightly so) but then choose to ignore them on this topic.

Report is before vaccine was developed.

If anybody ever thought that COVID was like the flu this should be one of the most powerful data sets to point out it’s not," he said, referring to the study that ran in Nature Medicine earlier this week.

It's really mysterious how people across the globe have lost all confidence in their leaders and governments.

Risk of persistent and new clinical sequelae among adults aged 65 years and older during the post-acute phase of SARS-CoV-2 infection: retrospective cohort study

Among individuals who were diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2, 32% (27,698 of 87,337) sought medical attention in the post-acute period for one or more new or persistent clinical sequelae, which was 11% higher than the 2020 comparison group. Respiratory failure (risk difference 7.55, 95% confidence interval 7.18 to 8.01), fatigue (5.66, 5.03 to 6.27), hypertension (4.43, 2.27 to 6.37), memory difficulties (2.63, 2.23 to 3.13), kidney injury (2.59, 2.03 to 3.12), mental health diagnoses (2.50, 2.04 to 3.04), hypercoagulability 1.47 (1.2 to 1.73), and cardiac rhythm disorders (2.19, 1.76 to 2.57) had the greatest risk differences compared with the 2020 comparison group, with similar findings to the 2019 comparison group.
