February 11, 20223 yr I went back and forth over private school for a while, but I have been very happy with the schools my kids have gone to so far.
February 11, 20223 yr My kid's daycare/preschool is more expensive than most state colleges Little sheet is probably gonna end up as a liberal arts major too.

I bet they'd also react the same way if the school announced the cafeteria was serving ice cream for lunch from now on instead of regular meals. Or that there'd be no need to carry backpacks because there's no more tests or homework. Or that instead of learning in class, they're just gonna watch movies and play games all day. Maybe, just maybe, making policy decisions solely based on what makes kids jump out of their chairs and start cheering isn't the best approach, but I'm sure you're also the type to complain about how this new generation of special snowflake participation trophy kids are way too coddled and need to toughen up more.

Yeah the cost blows but the teachers are great and they do a lot of developmental stuff with the kids. Plus he loves it. I may feel differently the first time he brings home a stomach bug or hand/foot/mouth though.

They do a great job with the kids and I know my daughter is light years ahead developmentally.

The greatest day since my kids were born was the day I made the last daycare payment 😂 then they started dance and I still don’t have any money. 😞

Agree with your first point Participation trophies are for **** and parents that know their kid sucks at sports but want them to feel special.

My parents told me I was going to be a doctor starting basically when I was born. Got them to understand around 9th grade that I wasn't going to do it. So then it was get into one of about 8 schools, or I had to go to U of Delaware and major in chemical engineering.
