It's probably for the best, but I used to love slicing an apple and eating it with peanut butter for a light snack. Can't even eat Reese's Cups anymore. My wife who had OG Covid right before me can't stand the smell of mustard anymore. It's weird how it seems to permanently affect the olfactory sense in a lot of people. Wish it was the other way around and emptying the litterbox smelled like lasagna or something.

That's not from COVID. That's just because mustard is effing disgusting.

What do you eat on your hot dogs? Turkey hoagies?

You eat hot dogs with what? Ketchup only?

I can't remember the last time I had a hot dog, but yes...ketchup only. If I even smell mustard I am disgusted.

Turkey hoagie -- either oil and vinegar or mayo. But once again, not being poor, I can't remember the last time I had a hoagie.

I average a hot dog every two years and it better have mustard and relish.

I didn't realize delicious hoagies were a poor people food. Go figure.

I didn't know hot dogs and hoagies were for the poors. Damn it.

I've heard a lot of stories on the taste and smell thing. Almost everyone I talked to has something they used to like now taste or smell bad to them now. I had both lost of taste and smell, it was pretty severe for a good 2 weeks. I haven't found anything that tatse different to me now or smell different... Maybe I just don't notice it

My sense of taste went away completely and very slowly came back. It's still a bit "muted" but I can taste now.

That bleach smell being stuck in my nose for weeks sucked.  I would lay in bed getting a headache from the smell and nothing would make it go away.

Took my kids to Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend a couple years ago. It's an indoor water park/resort. The taste and smell of chlorine lingered for days after I got home...it was awful. Never again.

Corned beef? Soft pretzels?

I only eat hot dogs at a ballpark... With mustard and relish. Never ketchup. Nothing like a hot dog, cold beer, and watching a ballgame.

The screwed up thing is my brother LOVES mustard. That psycho put it on everything when we were kids - french fries, even cheesesteaks. Still does.

It's pretty sad having a mentally challenged sibling...

Putting ketchup on a hot dog beyond the age of 12 is pretty much inexcusable.

You can state these things as fact if it makes you feel better about your heresy, but it doesn't make it correct. Both ketchup and mustard belong on hotdogs, and if you disagree, you're a communist.

Looks like we've got another "ketchup on my hot dog" guy here. Stop it.

Lol, if you look up images of hot dogs, at least half of them have ketchup on them. It is a classic combo that is often considered standard. You may not like it, but acting like "it doesn't belong" on a hot dog is just...ridiculous.

Ketchup, mustard, relish, and diced onion are the perfect combo for me.

Agree it is pretty standard.

However, get that useless flavor masking condiment off my hotdog.

Spicy brown mustard, diced onion, and relish is the ideal hotdog scenario.

Yep, those are for the kids.

What do neurotic people like you guys eat on your fries? I actually prefer BBQ, but ketchup will do if it's not available.

Ketchup is a fine condiment that servers a purpose (fries and burgers). Hot dogs? Straight blasphemous.

Eating hot dogs regularly above the age of 12 is inexcusable.

But enjoy being poor.

One of my favorite, easy-to-make, comfort foods to have on nights when I work late is hot dogs w/macaroni and cheese. Flame away.

Oh, are we now claiming that we have never eaten hot dogs beyond the age of 12

Rich people don't go to BBQs or eat hoagies. Being rich sounds like a blast

I see nothing wrong with that meal but once your net worth gets to a certain benchmark you're going to have to stop. Thems the rules. Enjoy for now (without ketchup)

I go to BBQs. We make hot dogs for the children. The adults eat real food.

The only acceptable time for an adult to eat a hot dog is a ballgame.

Oh, this I'd like to hear. Please tell us what the rich eat at BBQs.

Steak, chicken, hamburgers, kielbasa, etc.

I prefer tri-tip myself

Ok, so your typical BBQ then  How chicken, hamburgers and kielbasa don't have "poor people" stigma in your mind is beyond me.
