Brother in law lives in PA. He has the Rona so they had to cancel their kids 1st birthday party today. A bit concerned because my wife's parents stayed the night and were there before he knew he had it. Her stepfather has a laundry list of health issues and is in absolute terrible physical condition.

The state's dashboard sucks, I can barely figure out how to use it, so I've been looking at this: https://covidactnow.org/us/pennsylvania-pa/?s=31902014 I think it's 3.1% but I'm not sure if that includes this past week's data. Only 28% boosted. That's pathetic. 38 minutes ago, Boogyman said: Brother in law lives in PA. He has the Rona so they had to cancel their kids 1st birthday party today. Seems like everything's going around. My gf just got over a pretty nasty sinus infection that became pneumonia, and at her job, a bunch of people have been out sick but negative for COVID.

I caught something from my youngest, sore throat and probably some congestion on the way. Didn't sleep that great. Tested negative this morning.

Plus, cloth masks do very little against Omicron and the newest variants.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again now: I am absolutely amazed by the number of people I continue to see wearing masks pulled below their nose. I just figure out what is going through their head at this point.
April 11, 20223 yr This falls in line with the messaging shift at the end of the last wave of using masks as temporary measures when there are periodic spikes. It makes complete sense. As I said months ago, we're going to have to keep stricter mitigation measures on the table for when the pandemic starts to get out of hand again. People should just be happy we're at the point where we can basically manage and live with it. Masks are but a minor inconvenience to help keep things under control. As I've been saying, we're not out of the woods yet.
April 11, 20223 yr be ready for the wave freedom fighters, putting their lives on the line to save us from, masks. patriots, all of them.
April 11, 20223 yr Make sure you wear your KN95s while going to get your 6th booster to combat the 7th wave from the 5th variant!
