It's true the Eagles had trouble getting the WR position right during DMac's early years - but he had great options out of the backfield at varying times with BWest, Duce and Buckhalter, and Chad Lewis was no slouch either.  Westbrook was the X factor and was very effectively used as a receiver.

Yeah, the RBs were really good. Doesn't have a damn thing to do with the receivers being absolute trash.

Sounds like FDA is set to approve a vaccine for the U5 age group by mid or late June. Almost 6 months behind target, but the efficacy data wasn't up to par with the initial dosing that was trialed.

Yeah that would have been a wise thing to do 🙂

Two weeks ago we got an email from school saying there were three positive cases in his class.  We tested him and he was negative.  He has bad allergies and was coughing a lot, but he kept being negative as we tested him every couple days.  A week later, my wife tested positive, then a few days later my daughter did too.  All symptoms were minor (achy, cough, sore throat).  My wife did lose taste/smell for a day.  I’ve managed to stay negative (at least that’s what the tests say).

Stay well. Quarantine, wear facemasks if you are in contact, and use a different bathroom if you can. This happened in my household 2 weeks ago and somehow I managed not to catch it (at least I didn't test positive.)  I credit the vaccine for keeping it away, and those who got it only had mild symptoms for 5-10 days.

It absolutely does.  BWest was often split outside and used as a receiver - and he was a damn good one.

He was a running back. The receivers sucked and a good running back that can catch doesn't change that.

My sister was symptomatic and tested negative for about three or four days before she finally tested positive. IDK, I guess the tests just blow.

We actually went for a PCR test at Quest for my daughter, since she was having symptoms and her blood sugar was elevated than normal.  The test came back inconclusive, but the test we gave her when we got those results were positive.  The tests do seem inconsistent.

We’ve been wearing a face mask whenever we go somewhere indoors.  Their symptoms were mild and they seem to be over it.  I do feel like being vaccinated helped keep their symptoms to be mild.

The at home tests will produce false negatives for a couple days. The viral count needs to be higher.

He was also drafted in 2003, and the post was about 2001, but...why let facts get in the way.

The WRs really sucked back in 2001.  If they had some better WRs they would have beaten the Rams and possibly won the SB.  The WR situation didn't really change until they went out and got TO.

Nahhhh, according to @Procus they really needed to cut all the wide outs on the roster and go with 9 RBs that can catch.

True. But the real point is a just because you have backs that can catch doesn't mean you don't also need competent receivers. Only a simpleton would think the two are interchangeable.

McNabb was really screwed in the WR department. Aside from Owens who was his best WR.....Kevin Curtis/Desean Jackson? Were either of them even 6'?

Even Wentz got Alshon and Ertz was better than any TE McNabb ever had.

He had running backs though.

I think I saw that Pfizer is working on an updated version of their vaccine that will hopefully be getting rolled out by late summer. Hoping to get boosted with some more of that sweet juice by early Fall.

I did like this guy.  Six foot even and about 200 pounds (well if TEW anuualizes it).

McNabb only got him for his rookie year.

Hmm, probably need the 4th and 5th booster.

I remember posting stats like this during the lockdowns and everyone in here autistically screeching at me for it. Oh well, even the NYT is coming around and acknowledging it now.

Well, good thing schools have been focusing on SEL hardcore since the pandemic started. Ya know, one of those bogeymen that, along with CRT, the right has been autistically screeching about.

Just got an alert from the DPH saying to start prepping my practice to offer vaccines to patients 6 months and up.

VRBPAC mtg isnt until 6/15, but presumably the data is solid enough to finally be approved this time, so FDA, then CDC panel, then CDC approvals should follow in the days after which possibly means shots in arms as soon as 6/20.
