Been out here in SoCal for a week. Wore masks on the plane ride out here but really haven't seen many people wearing masks, and unless it's been required which has only been like one place, we mostly haven't bothered to wear them, either. But then there's this woman standing in line at Disneyland right now, double-masked in KN95s...

You see them very rarely. LA County's Department of Public Health is about to reinstitute an indoor mask mandate (Thursday I think), but some cities are already saying they won't enforce it (BH today). Basically, everyone in LA is done with the Director, Barbara Ferrer. She is universally hated.

Feel free to stay in your fantasy world that has us landing on the Moon, terrorists flying planes into the towers and you living on a spinning and orbiting sphere.

"Reasoning" on your own and determining the world is flat just makes you an idiot.

But I thought your decision to wear the mask was going to be based on the data not what other people were doing? You're a grandma-killer now, buddy. Welcome to the club.

This is a great idea. Democrats should definitely listen to Fauci and push this

I was in LA/Aneheim/Joshua Tree last week and didn't see too much in the way of mask wearing, no more so really than here.  I certainly didn't wear one anywhere.  The thing that was weird to me was at LAX, they had Mask Required posted everywhere but it was about 60/40 maskless to masked.  Seems like such a pointless exercise if no one's going to listen.

Was in NYC last week for a couple days.  Saw quite a lot of people wearing masks, at least, compared to home.  Still a lot less than two years ago.

You're incomprehensible when sober, so there's no chance to make sense of your posts when you've already knocked back 20 Miller Lites.

I think you understood perfectly.

Latest genetic studies on the origin point to multiple spillovers, which suggests extended periods of human contact with the intermediary animals. Fits with the raccoon dog suspicions.

Someone asked recently about whether vaccines still prevent severe disease and death, seems like the answer is still yes.

My father got bad sick last week with the vid.  Vaxxed plus double boosted very likely saved him.  72 yrs old, ok shape for his age.
