Just a left over from two competing thoughts. I do a lot of multitasking.

Started out as the "Kung Flu Master of CVON Muppets" but I wasn't sure how many would get the Metallica reference

I can assure you that your "references" aren't too deep anyone you drunk idiot.  Even in CVON.

"Oh a reference to the most popular song from one of the most well known bands of the past 50 years...ya'll probably wouldn't get it"

I don't get many rap references and after your Covid fiasco I refuse to over estimate your intelligence.

Edit: Does your autocorrect hate you? Put down that fifth of Jack you Fing amateur.

Nothing to see here either.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is facing a class action lawsuit after colluding with Google to repeatedly auto-install contact-tracing spyware on the smartphones of over a million Massachusetts residents without their permission or consent.

Fascinating:

What is considered high vaccination and low vaccination?  When does lo become high?

I ask because if low is 20% vaccination rate and high is 80% vaccination rate, then differences in death rate would be stark.  But what if low vaccination rate is 60%, and high vaccination rate is 80%?  Does a 20% difference equate to that much of a difference in deaths?

Also, are external factors being taken out?  Places with higher vaccination rate probably also have high murder rates: large cities, urban areas like North Jersey, etc.

On Day 5 of Covid right now. Supposed to run a 5K with my 8 YO daughter on Sunday as her running buddy for Girls on The Run. She’s been coughing all week but has tested negative consistently and seems to be feeling fine other than the chest cough. I sometimes feel fine but other times lack energy and get winded if I walk up the stairs too quickly.

How terrible of an idea is it for me to try to honor my commitment to my daughter and run in the race with her in 2 days?

Where did you get the information that convinced you the unvaccinated are not dying?

I know a lot of the unvaxxed. One dead. Pancreatic Cancer. No Covid though.

Maybe we're just too stubborn but there are a lot us out here not dying from the Kung Flu.

About your twisted logic and misunderstanding of what evidence is. I know a guy, isn’t evidence.

Now there's quality irony.

Your new three week booster is currently available.

Just wanna say that's awesome that your 8 year old is running 5Ks. My kids are fairly athletic, but not enough to run 5Ks, that's impressive.

Hopefully you guys feel better soon.

Thanks. This will be her first one. The program is designed for elementary aged girls in grades 3 - 5. They practice running and building up stamina twice a week working their way up to a 5K. 2 weeks ago they had their practice 5K which I ran with my daughter and she was one of the first 4 or 5 to finish despite being one of the youngest in the program. She just loves running and has energy for days.

I just saw Emily Oster at the farmer's market. I'll tell her y'all say hi and to keep up the good work!

Completed a test run of just under a mile with my daughter a little bit ago.  Little bit more coughing than before the run now, but otherwise my breathing feels ok. Looks like I should be OK tomorrow as long as I take it easy.

If you have an albuterol inhaler, 2 puffs about 15 minutes before the run might limit the coughing a bit.

I do and did that today. Thanks.

I'm also a fan of "First and Last" on Wheel of Fortune ^_^

I’m sorry to report that I survived the 5K today. Definitely short on stamina/energy afterwards and my chest has been tighter all day after the race, but all in all I’d say we fared pretty well.  And we finished in 41:09.70 which I think is pretty awesome for her first race ever!
