I'm sure there's some Dunning-Kruger study he can volunteer for.

They're committing mass ritual suicide out of fealty to a mentally ill game show host, and they're proud about it. They're righteously indignant despite the massive disparity in deaths having already proven how stupid and gullible they are. It has been absolutely wild to see it play out in real time over the past couple years.

GF got RSV (we think), went back to work actually a day earlier than she had to because she was feeling better, then immediately got the flu (influenza A). The RSV was unpleasant but basically a mild case, the flu kicked her ass, though, and she can't remember having the flu in many years, if at all. I told her to get that booster as soon a she's well again so she doesn't hit the trifecta. The "tridemic" is in full swing. They're saying that flu seems to be peaking pretty early this year. Stay safe!

I got wrecked by something back in August that I was convinced was covid, until all my at-home tests came up negative. Thinking it might've been the flu.

If you want a leg up on truly understanding the modern dynamic of Chinese culture as relates to its history, I highly recommend this book. Scotch-Irish author Frehley pens a masterful tocquevilleian essay of his experiences and observations as a foreign visitor in the northern peasant country under Mao. It's long, but flows really well.

Stay tuned for a massage from the Swedish Prime Minister.

I tested positive today. Fever started late Saturday night. I canceled hosting the game Sunday.  I didn’t work at all today. Fever is much lower today but seems to spike in the evening.  Tylenol is my friend.  Wish I could sleep good.  Have some aches and pains.

I was in a crowded bar Friday night. Thinking that’s where it came from.  Will probably miss the company XMas party this week and  may not be able to host a game this weekend.

Sorry to hear that, hope you have a fairly mild case. Did you get a script for pax?

And how do you substantiate this BS?

I’m not sure what your issue is with this.

No, I don't think I need it.  However, since I'm old and have a history, I should call the nurses line to report I have it.  Not sure if they still count/record cases.  If they call me back with their recommendations, then of course I will consider it.

My wife and I recently had it. She took pxlovid because she has health issues (auto immune, asthma, etc) and if appears to reduce chances of developing long covid. I did not take it. Our symptoms were pretty consistent but she had a rebound case immediately after the initial 10 day period whereas I did not. Purely anecdotal evidence from one persons experience.

I took Pax when I got it. Felt better after one day.
