Come on, everybody knows the Flu-A is  COVID-19.

I had some type of flu last week that kicked my arse, wifey's too.  2nd time i catch something that strong in two months.  There sure is a ton of airborne shite going around.  Never tested positive for COVID though.

The wife had something in late November and is still dealing with a cough. Between the holidays and us going away between Christmas and New Years she hasn't been able to get to the doctor but she's going today.

I've managed to dodge it to this point. My one son though seems to be dealing with the same persistent cough.

Walking pneumonia? Bronchitis? Who knows. All I know is I'm done with my family being sick. Anybody want to swap?

Unlike covid, pretty much only the unvaccinated are at risk. The neat thing about the measles vaccine is that it does what a vaccination should do. You brought this up a couple months ago with an article that even stated the likely reason was because covid caused a lot of people to get behind on their immunizations --- not because of "anti-vaxxers."

But don't let me keep you off your high horse.

It took about 30 seconds for anti vax loons to flood twitter last night blaming what happened on MNF on the vaccine.

Seems significant.

To be fair, how long did it take pro vaxers to blame unvaccinated for the spread of Covid when we now know that the vaccine doesn't stop it from spreading.  Loons on both sides.

I was sick as hell over Christmas. Thought it was a bad cold.

Lots of respiratory viruses circulating out now... Cold, Flu, RSV, Covid...  I notice a lot of people getting a nagging cough that won't go away. The last time this happened I can recall was Jan./Feb. 2020.  My kid was sick the entire Christmas break: cough, stuffy/runny nose, etc. Never tested positive for Covid though.

The vaccinated have less of a chance of getting and spreading it than the vaccinated. There is a lot of room between it isn’t 100% effective and not working at all.
