I still cannot understand how a simple piece of fabric wrapped around some plastic fibers creating a filter when placed on someone's face has caused so much ire among some people. It's the simplest thing to do to help prevent spreading disease. Don't want to wear a mask? Stop breathing.

100% chance this dude wears a mask outdoors.

Yes, you have a glory hole fixation. Everyone knows.

Nobody is going to knock on the next stall. We don't care how few teeth you have.

Don't look at me. You're the one with the avatar. 🫡

Information during the beginning of the pandemic had lots of bad info.

A little late with that admission. Still a lot of bad and over looked information out there. Most importantly we built that ****.

Victim.  I made fun of you Seabiscuit, no one else.

And you deserve it.

"But the CDC does note, "A cloth face covering may not protect the wearer, but it may keep the wearer from spreading the virus to others.” By wearing a cloth covering in public, the spread of the virus can be slowed by lessening the transmission to others.”

You are assuming @Procus is unselfish and would help by slowing transmission to others. I don't think he understands. It's only about protecting himself.

"a condom doesn't stop me from getting pregnant, why should I care?"

same reasoning.

Why would I be mad that you decide to mask up in your own car or outdoors? I find it hilarious.

I was in Myrtle Beach last week and saw an entire family - a mom and a dad and three pre-teen to earlyish teen kids - in line for tickets to an outdoor concert with the serious N95 masks fastened tight to their faces. It didn't make me angry because I'm not a sociopath. I had a good chuckle at the parents, and felt a slight bit of pity for the children, who walked slouched over avoiding eye-contact with everyone around them as you'd expect of kids with overbearing, sheetlib parents who probably have them afraid of their own shadow.

Give them credit.  It was a big step for them to even venture into public.

Oh yeah, you could tell they felt out of place. But I guess the opportunity to see a Pearl Jam cover band was too much to pass up.

In all honesty, I'm all for continued masking. It helps you immediately separate neurotic people and hardcore liberals (I repeat myself) from normal people. Just take a look at any hardcore lib college student groups. Those freaks routinely still take pictures where everyone is outdoors and they're all masked up. I find it humorous that hardcore libs are still broken by the pandemic.

Look at you... You're still here talking about it.

Key word "may".

May do absolutely nothing. Which is likely the case.

The only thing they know for sure is that wearing one doesn't keep you from contracting it or anything else. The rest is unproven speculation.
