Last year he recommended I do the covid and flu shot separately, so I did. Just read an article that says you can get both at the same time. So, you can see why there are reservations still. I know absolutely nothing about this RSV virus. I just know that I am under no illusion of getting out of here alive. My name is already carved onto the stone. My age shows me to be a senior citizen, but I still think I'm 50 most days. I really don't know where the decades go, and I'd be fine to check out before my 7th or 8th one.

Talk to your doctor, assuming you trust them. They are more aware of the specifics of your health, and that may mean they different in recommendations from the general guidelines - and that's ok. I don't know how old you are, but I've had both and while they weren't pleasant, they are cake walks compared to shingles. Seems like the severity and location of shingles can vary too, but believe me when I say it can absolutely F'ing wreck you for 4 or 5 days. If you're concerned about getting all 3 shots together, you can definitely space them out, but don't drag your feet on shingles. I was too young to get vaxed for it, but it falls squarely in the FAFO bucket if you don't wanna take my word for it. To be clear, you should still get all 3 shots before November, but of the 3 infections I've experienced, shingles was by far the worst.
