I'm not in the hospital so yeah.

Maybe I'm patient 129.  I'll have to monitor my skin for blisters throughout the night.

I've had COVID 3x and also had 3 COVID vaccine shots so I suppose I'm covered.

Wife had it a few weeks ago. The Paxlovid knocked it out in like 2 days. None of he rest of us caught it, but I did have to sleep in the guest room for a few days, so I feel I got the worst of it.

Quite a bit over here this summer.  My wife and daughter were both sick but they didn't test so who knows.  My last bout was June 2023.

Have you considered sitting in rice to see if it will fix you?

Welp, my streak ended: I finally tested positive on a rapid test. I wouldn't have even thought to test if my brother didn't inform me that he was sick and infected. We went to a concert in DC together last week and I stayed with him for a couple days. My symptoms were extremely mild, almost undetectable: runny nose/slight congestion and the most minor of muscle aches. I had a slight fever of 100.1 on the morning of day 5, but it subsided by the afternoon. So, barely any illness and I've cleared through it quickly and seamlessly. I can't help but wonder if the reason it finally got through to me was because I had really been run ragged and massively sleep deprived in the days leading up to the concert, like was I so drained to the point that I was basically acutely immunocompromised, andnit finally broke through? Oh well, guess my immunity should be good for the early part of the sick season, then I'll probably get boosted again around Thanksgiving.

Feel better man. It's really nothing at this point.

That's how I'm seeing it. I was never one to get sick much in general, but common colds have done much more to me than this virus.

is that your professional medical opinion?

anyway, my efforts to obtain another fauci booster failed. they're not coming out with the "new" booster until next month. :meh:

Man, I missed the boat on this. 24 hours fever free, and back to work I went. I only got 1.5 days 😞

Probably just as effective.

Yes, you're gonna have to wait. In the mean time, try the rice.

Good to hear you cleared it quick. The second time I got it was much less severe and symptoms broke in a fraction of the time. First time knocked me on my ass pretty good for a couple days though.

Some of you are the unluckiest individuals.
