I did. And trust me, I’m on your side with this.

But the first thing the "anti-maskers” will do is Google a picture of people looking fine, face up on a ventilator.  Which is absurd but they would do it just to show that the actual pictures are not 100% accurate or they don’t tell the entire story.   And then the next thing they will do is post "Fake News”.  And follow it up on how hospitals are paid extra to put people on ventilators, etc etc.

I’ve seen it done repeatedly over the course of the past 3 months.  And most of the time, the overall point is/could be correct.   Just letting you know from experience.  You can tell them the sky is blue but they will say, "Not here, it’s white and cloudy.”  🤷🏻‍♂️ ;)

I hear you. And I'm not breaking your balls here, but with my decades of experience arguing with internet trolls (and being an internet troll), I can guarantee that no matter how buttoned up your case is, a conspiracy theorist will poke holes to keep the conspiracy going.

So hey, if you want to do the Anti-Cigarette commercial trick of demonstrating the ugly worst case scenario to draw attention...you might as well do it. You'll reach the eyes of those who can be persuaded, and the un-persuadable will remain entrenched as their identities are built around that anyway.

I guess my summary is, "fair and balanced" works in personal conversations. But getting all these go0bers out there to take Covid seriously might require a good smack on the nose.

That's horrifying. Not being able to work out if I catch this thing is my biggest fear (well, other than dying of course).

Not good for the 40% obese population that needs to work out in order to save their own lives.

I really wish the media would stress this point but we all know we can't do that.

It's been months since I recovered from COVID-19. To this day, I still have a constant pressure in my chest, likely caused due to scarring in my lungs. I can't run or exercise anymore without immediately feeling like I'm suffocating. It feels like my lungs barely have the capacity to deliver enough oxygen to my body to keep it alive. Will it get better in time? Who knows. I have my doubts.

Keep the masks on.

Sorry to hear that. The long-term effects of this is one of my biggest concerns. We just don't know and doctors have stated that they've seen the same things in patients like yourself. Have you seen a specialist or doctor to get feedback?

I actually thought about the cigarette commercial after I posted.  And you’re right, some need that type of graphic depiction for it to hit home. 👍

Gov. of NY doing a number on Trump for his 99% statement this morning.

Telling him to 'Just wear the mask!'

A Florida mother took her high-risk teenage daughter to a "COVID party” at their church, tried treating the girl at home with unproven drugs when she got sick — and then hailed her as a patriot after she died.

"The Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigated the teen’s last two week in the medical examiner’s report, which Jones said shows her mother, Carole Brunton Davis, had taken her June 10 to a church-sponsored event to intentionally expose her immunocompromised daughter, who had survived cancer at 2, to the potentially deadly coronavirus."

Odds that if she gets charged and convicted, Trump pardons her?

Insane and tragically sad...on multiple levels.  I'd like to see corroborating evidence because that story is so off the wall....it's hard to believe.

With this being literally 15-30 mins from me, if local news doesn't pick it up today it's probably mostly BS. They reference some report from FL Dept of Law Enforcement but no link or direct quotes.

I hope so.  As a Florida resident, this is the last thing this state needs right now.

Perfect chance to improve their skills. My son's basketball handles has dramatically improved since couldn't shoot for a while.

Older study in Netherlands said 80% of their patients were obese

Miami-Dade Mayor, the only guy in FL who even bothers to care or do anything about COVID, is closing all restaurants, gyms, banquet halls, theaters etc starting Wednesday. Sounds like a good idea to combat our 26% positivity rate, but since everything is done at a County level I guess everyone will just flow to Broward county now.

The leg amputation and strokes were direct results of COVID-19 and the subsequent treatments. But, yeah, keep thinking it's all a conspiracy to make Trump look bad.

If you say so.

That should be circulated. Get moving people.
