More like the parents learned a lesson of how much of a brat they raised then went out and bought a brand new one as the kid continued be a little brat.

July 8, 20205 yr It's pretty simple guys. You want football this year? Wear masks and preach wearing them to everyone around you.

That's BS. It's only political. Ignorance and selfishness come into play only after you realize they aren't wearing masks because they see the president not wearing a mask. Period. 22 hours ago, LeanMeanGM said: I really don’t understand how schools in general will be able to successfully open almost anywhere. If a teachers spouse tests positive, what happens? Two weeks of substitute teaching at minimum? Do students need mandatory COVID testing in that instance to be present? What happens with a school outbreak? What happens if a child dies? What happens when a principal/FOH staff test positive? Seems like just a ton of inevitable interruption is about to happen. Just like Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, and Football in 2020. Things are going to get (and stay) ugly around here once people get their hopes up. 6 hours ago, BirdsFanBill said: It's like a 13 year old spoiled child became king or something. Its so weird. School districts as it is have their budgets cut annually and have to deal with so many different variable factors, and are now faced with a "just do it” attitude. They are on par with hospitals that are just set up to fail.

I don't have kids, but I can't even fathom how I'd react to an outbreak at my kids school, and what happens with my job when I decide I'm not sending them back to that school this year.

Stop politicizing medicine. Ace, hydroxychloroquine has not shown to cut fatality rates. Again, observational studies do not prove effectiveness. They show correlation, not causation. Until it’s tested in a randomized clinical trial and shown that the treatment group has better outcomes than the control group, we can not say that it provides any benefit. And the clinical trials that have been completed so far have actually proven to show no benefit. So what we know as of now is that it provides no benefit. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2016638 - This clinical trial tested hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic and found "After high-risk or moderate-risk exposure to Covid-19, hydroxychloroquine did not prevent illness compatible with Covid-19 or confirmed infection when used as postexposure prophylaxis within 4 days after exposure." https://www.recoverytrial.net/files/hcq-recovery-statement-050620-final-002.pdf - Clinical trial in the UK : "‘We have concluded that there is no beneficial effect of hydroxychloroquine in patients hospitalised with COVID-19" "‘A total of 1542 patients were randomised to hydroxychloroquine and compared with 3132 patients randomised to usual care alone. There was no significant difference in the primary endpoint of 28-day mortality (25.7% hydroxychloroquine vs. 23.5% usual care; hazard ratio 1.11 [95% confidence interval 0.98-1.26]; p=0.10). There was also no evidence of beneficial effects on hospital stay duration or other outcomes."
July 8, 20205 yr "I disagree with the CDC guidelines" is a horrifying sentence to see from the President of the United States. Trump is pretty much ensuring the recovery from this is as painful as possible.
