Yep. Teachers have to deal with a lot more crap than just "making sure kids don't piss themselves". I don't understand why they're referred to as babysitters so much but whatever. I've had the same argument with TEW.

I have a bunch of friends that work in education (teachers, administrators, etc.) and they all say this. It baffles me. I couldn't imagine my parents going to my school and complaining about my grades, me not making the team, etc. They'd just ground me for getting a B. Now parents seem to go after teachers because their kid must be the BEST. 1 minute ago, Dawkins 20 said: You're gonna need somebody to wash your balls when you're old and decrepit. Reminds me of coaching T-ball for a couple of years. Yeah you get one or two little a-hole kids, but they're relatively easy to deal with. The POS parents who just dump them off like it's some kind of drop-in daycare service and don't respond to texts/e-mails and then whine about everything are the ones that make you want to start kicking throats.

I personally don't mind mine at home at all. We've implemented a chore system with post-its. Each chore has a monetary amount on it and when done they put it in their envelope. At the end of each week they'll get paid their money. Working pretty good so far for a 7 and 9 year old. Also amazing how much $10 a week can get your house cleaned.
July 15, 20205 yr Trump Administration Strips C.D.C. of Control of Coronavirus Data Quote Hospitals have been ordered to bypass the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and send all patient information to a central database in Washington, raising questions about transparency. The school district my kids are in and the one my wife teaches in are both making significant changes to the online/remote aspect. There will be more live synchronous teaching versus asynchronous info dumps in emails and videos. it sounds like what my wife was doing last year remotely, as well as my kids teachers, was already much better than what some of you guys experienced, and that sucks. There really are no good answers in this. i hope they do better for our district. i know they tried as best they could under the circumstances, but i think if they do more live synchronous teaching vs asynchronous info dumps it will be much better. my worry is about the following year, my kids is trying to get into tech. how will this affect those types of schools and those trying to get into them.

When it finally was all said and done he and his wife were so happy. Hang in there brother.
