A Bernie Bro wouldn't vote for Biden. Bernie Bros. accept no one other than their ideal choice.

Old-school, FDR-era liberalism is heavily influenced by social democracy. "Social democracy" is what we called it when I was growing up, but it's more or less interchangeable with what people call "democratic socialism" today.

You guys are too easy. I can just keep re-posting the same argument because you can't ever be bothered to take the time to respond to the examples I provide to support my contention.

Fun-fact: The founding fathers were heavily influenced by classical socialist writers like Rousseau :o

Applauding socialism is old-school liberalism?

Whatever gets you through the night, chief

You’ve described yourself as a Bernie bro before. Obviously it’s smart to distance yourself from that, but don’t expect everyone to forget it right away. Lmao

Lol, no, I literally have not. I've always rejected that label.

"Socialism" in the contemporary sense is not what your cold-war era mindset associates with it. Again, take FDR and the New Deal as the kind of ideology that I am advocating.

Socialism, democratic-socialism/social democracy. There actually is a difference. But, hey, I can't expect a bunch of simpletons to actually be able to perceive nuance and discern the difference between them.

I wonder if Republicans will ever get tired of being known as the party of stupid, selfish people. I mean, more than half of the country and the rest of the industrialized world is literally laughing at how stupid Republicans are, and they have been for awhile. My guess, though, is that Republicans will continue to revel in their idiocy as they are increasingly marginalized in the political realm.

I really can't wait to watch this party burn to the ground in the coming years. It's all about to come crashing down; a spectacular demise that has been in the making for decades :groovy:

This debate is more enjoyable than the eagles game.  So you all have that going for you.

I believe I said I'm voting for Biden, but OK.

Bernie is a MENSA candidate compared to any of the numerous half-witted toolbags that the Republicans have put up for national office in the past 60 years.

"Bernie is a Mensa candidate...”

It was a relative statement. Nice editing. Your side owns the identity of the most idiotic political party in the modern era. You've set the bar extremely low.

The greatest irony here is that Republicans are the primary example of why the founders were so leery of letting average people vote. Republicans are the ignorant mob that men of the Enlightenment feared.

Again, masks don’t completely prevent the spread. Didn’t think I needed the qualifier "completely” but I guess I did. All I’m saying is that the leftists who defied social distancing recommendations to pile on top of each other in the thousands are complete morons who are murdering people by spreading this disease. They’re disgusting killers. Sorry if you want to defend them.

Where have I "defended” the people at these marches? Seriously what the F are you talking about?
