All we need to do is quarantine for two weeks, which we do anyway. The only shame I feel is that I keep addressing you as if you were not a troll so butt hurt you make Trump look manly. No, you risked spreading the virus to your son and all the people in his household. Also highly doubt that you'll actually quarantine for 2 full weeks without either of you going to the grocery store at least once. You'll be possibly spreading the virus there and potentially murdering people you come into contact with. Again, the pandemic doesn't stop at your whims. Oh, and the reason I'm butthurt is because of people like you who have a total disregard for their fellow Americans during a pandemic. Yeah, I guess watching people like you murder people so you can make a social visit gets me a little worked up. Guilty as charged.
November 18, 20204 yr Are we all just going to ignore the fact that creepy Toaster equates caring about your kids with molestation?!?!?

November 18, 20204 yr On the plus side, if you get COVID, you're immune for 10 years automatically according to science:

Yes, but it is okay, it was pro-Trump rally. Nobody was wearing a mask and they asked me not to wear one. Since COVID is fake, it shouldn't be a big deal.

If you're so much better than the Trump supporters you constantly criticize on here, you should practice what you preach. Instead, meh, you can go out when you feel like it. No biggie. If you criticize enough people in the corona thread, that'll make up for you own murderous, anti-science behavior.

Well, it's been a long time. I just can't abide 4 hour meals where they need to give me a story for every course. The food was very good, just not mind blowing. You ever go I'll meet you there and pay. Deal?

Ain't gettin out of it now paco I like food experiences especially when the food is actually good. Alinea is supposed to be as much about the experience too which is why I'm interested in checking that one out. Whenever we travel I like to find the michelin star or top rated restaurant in the area. I'm sure some of them are truly overrated but I'm just boujee like that

I'm sure some of them are truly overrated but I'm just boujee like that So it's a funny story of how we went there. Years ago, when I lived in SF, my brother came out to visit with his wife and another couple. He went NUTS planning a Napa Valley tour, complete with a 70+ page pdf file agenda. My brother is like that -- everything has to be planned out, and he has to do everything that he thinks makes him look good in the NY scene (i.e., going to French Laundry, being a wine snob). So, then this all happened: - We missed the tour at Caymus because his friends overslept, then insisted on stopping to buy cartons of cigarettes because they were so much cheaper than NYC - He was all excited about going to lunch at some place called Mustard Grill. I made an executive decision and...pulled into In 'N Out. Everyone other than my brother was thrilled - The next day we missed a tour because my wife forgot her purse at a restaurant The weekend ended with the meal at French Laundry. My bro was in heaven...just ranting and raving. My wife doesn't really drink, so she ordered a ginger ale. The waiter legit spent 5 minutes telling us about the ginger ale, the company, how it isn't corporate -- meanwhile, my wife was just thirsty. 4 hours to eat a meal that was like $500 per person, and I would have rather just hit In 'N Out again.
November 18, 20204 yr Ok schmoopie, its settled. We go out to Napa, we are doing In N out in lieu of French Laundry.

That's how we felt after Peter Luger, a few years ago.

Ohh my gosh... yeah that's a little too rigid on your brother's part and it's hard to stick to strict planning with multiple people. I've never had In 'N Out and I've heard it's both awesome and overrated.. I want to try it just to see what the hype is, even though I don't eat a lot of fast food anymore. I guess I'm kind of like your bro in that I like to plan things when I travel.. I always like to see or experience the best of a few things... but I'm also extremely spontaneous which actually drives paco nuts. Oversleeping is common while on vacation. paco and I stayed up almost all night in Rome one evening because we were enjoying the Grappa a little TOO much. We were at the Waldorf and they have those iron clad electronic shutters that you can put down that shut out ALL light. We woke up dazed and still drunk the next morning and I went into full panic mode because we missed our train to Venice - a first class with wine and meal experience I had all planned out. Instead we were stuck with the Plebes in coach on a later train and handed one warm soda for the whole ride. I was DYING but determined to stay awake and enjoy the Italian countryside. paco was out and snoring the entire time. I'm sure our seat mates were impressed.
