The national guard is at one of our rehabilitation centers because the doctors and nurses are becoming completely overwhelmed. Meanwhile at work several employees keep complaining that masks don't work while they have it around their chin all day and said they need to just let us live.......

The problem is that makes aren’t designed to keep you safe. They’re to keep others safe. While I absolutely abhor a collective mentality, one of the largest downside to living in an individual based society is the propensity to not give an ish about other people, but such is human nature.

I look at it like shopping carts. There’s no rule that says you have to put it back when you’re done loading your car, but when you don’t you’re a D. Same with masks. If you don’t wear one when you’re around other people, you’re a D.

Perhaps it’s time to start publicly shaming people for being a-holes doing a-hole things.

So, I developed a low grade fever tonight. Started having chills around 8, but no fever. Attributed it to a particularly stressful day at work.

Now I'm at 100.3°F. still don't feel terrible, chills aside. Told the wife to sleep in the guest room, though I don't know if it's too late or what.

Could be anything really. Common cold, flu, but obviously I'm concerned about COVID. Sense of taste and smell seems normal. Had some tikka masala for dinner, didn't notice any particular loss of smell or taste them either.

Only extended time outside the house the last 5 days was to go to the grocery store Sunday. Last Thurs I took my son to karate and worked out, that's probably the most dangerous thing I've done but the gym wasn't very crowded (I don't work out if there's too many people). I didn't do cardio either, just some light lifting.

Ugh.

feel better man

Thanks.

Honestly, I feel ok today. Fever hasn't returned, have some body aches but otherwise nothing.

It came on real sudden last night. Freaked me out a bit.

I finally got a test scheduled, but not until Tuesday morning. Getting a Covid test, even doctor ordered, is rough right now.

This is the sheet I hate.  This ukn’ mask notsee libtard tested positive for the rona 2 days ago. Here he is at his nephew’s football game.  These type of libtard hypocrites are just as bad as the "government can’t control me” right wingnuts.

this uker needs to be called out.

Yeah it's brutal, especially over the weekends.

The place I've been sending kids through the week reported a 5 hour wait this week. The minute clinic and drive through ones have very specific and constantly changing hours, insurance/age/symptom requirements. It's almost a full time job to keep up and parents are getting pissed.

Libtards are quite tonight.  Weird. :-)

https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/20/health/covid-mask-sanford-health-ceo/index.html

CEO won't wear a mask because he HAD Covid.

Citing "growing evidence," that he is now immune to the virus, Krabbenhoft said "for me to wear a mask defies the efficacy and purpose of a mask and sends an untruthful message that I am susceptible to infection or could transmit it. I have no interest in using masks as a symbolic gesture."

Only in South Dakota.

We were mostly talking burgers but if I had to pick a favorite fast food place it would actually be Taco Bell hands down.

Taco Bell seems to make me feel like I am eating healthy. Those few scraps of lettuce on a taco go a long way lol

Yeah but the Trumps seem to escape any serious consequences. Although a non presidential Trump would probably still be on a tube.

they quite what

The guidelines are 10 days from first symptoms, at least 24 hours since fever, and condition should be improving.

At that point it's no longer considered necessary to be in self-isolation.
