December 5, 20205 yr There was a piece on ABC News last night that wealthy people might try and bribe their doctor into giving them the vaccine, even when they are the very last on the list. This stuff is going to be like gold. Hackers are already trying to figure out how to get it. At this point, I can see violence from those who just can't wait.

Maybe someone smarter than me in the healthcare field can explain to me why they can’t convert more rooms into ICU rooms? Why aren’t they asking the government for help in doing that? Give them money to buy beds and equipment and hire more staff and there will be more than 6 ICU beds in a hospital. It makes no sense to not equip the health systems to better fight a virus that’s been in the country for over a year. What good is all the healthcare we pay for and Obama got for us if we can’t use it? The answer to ending this virus is not sitting at home. But while we wasted a year doing so, they haven’t done anything at all to increase the hospitals ability to care for sick and fight the virus. It’s inexcusable to be held hostage at home because of the failure of our health systems.

The government considers the film industry "essential." Are you freaking kidding me? You have these famous people coming out and talking about Trump, the Coronavirus and everything else that's going on. But if you gave every one of those people a chance to boycott making a film, even though they are already millionaires, I bet not one of them would turn their back on a movie offer.

December 7, 20205 yr My best friend from high school just lost her dad to COVID. He had suffered a few falls and had been in the hospital doing rehab. He was set to be released last week but contracted it on Tuesday and passed yesterday. F this stupid virus. He was in his 70s but still had a lot of life to live. Cannot wait for these vaccines to start rolling out.
