Because the CDC has been a joke through all of this.  

Just like our state working with the CDC and finding anyone with symptoms of COVID (pneumonia, oxygenation issues, etc.) listed on their death certificate and adding 30% death count to our numbers in one day because they "looked back through old information".  Well that's pretty damn convenient.  Same week as inauguration, when they implemented a Ct maximum on positive PCR tests AND required clinical confirmation before counting a positive test.

They need to be more explicit in how low the risk is for vaccinated people to mingle with unvaccinated people. Feel like they're slow playing it when we have enough data to be a bit more dogmatic in our approach. They're erring on the side of caution, but I'd rather they err on the side of incentivizing compliance.

Given the excess deaths differential, COVID related deaths are under-reported.

I distinctly remember my father shunning me as a child only to go bench press and do dead lifts. One of my earliest memories.

 

I think that's really where it all went wrong for me.
