That's wonderful news.  Sounds like he's on the other side now and will get better with each day.

Some folks in CO had some adverse side effects at a mass site doing the J&J vaccine.  It’s really hard in this day and age to listen to the doom and gloom news.  Was my daughter’s intuition right by not taking this shot weeks ago?   I don’t know.  She’s getting Pfizer next week.

I spent the day in NYC, yeah I know not the best place to be but it's been over a year I need to go do something... Anyways, I swear I maybe seen like 5 people all day without a mask and that was only people walking by themselves away from crowds even the freaking bums had them on.

Coming from a town of only 3,000 people and working in a grocery store I see at least 100 people without masks.

Just suprising and feeling safer in city of millions over a town of a few thousand is just odd. They policed themselves pretty well too. I heard a few people telling someone else to pull their masks up that was in a small area.

That sucks. I'm in a small-ish town, but it's pretty conservative. Still, most people seem compliant at the grocery stores at least. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine this morning.  I did not want to wait too long after it became available to anyone 16 & over here in Delaware.  I had a chance to schedule an appointment in Dover earlier this week, but it was gone when I went to book it.  But I got an appointment today down in Lewes.

The jab was a little pinprick, and after the initial penetration of the skin, you don't feel a single thing.  I had no side effects for the first 6-7 hours; right now, my arm is sore in the area that I got the shot.

Thanks, I don't really don't even think about it anymore at work it's not worth getting in a fist fight or your life threatened. They want to people ignorant then let them.

I was just impressed with a city that size with that many people they really seem like they are on top of it and more people follow the guidelines then not.

You couldn't even go in most places without a proper mask. Meaning no bandanas, no shirt pulled over mouth and no neck gaiters. It was approved masks or no entry. Didn't hear a single person **** about it either. Obviously this was only one day but, I was there awhile and was up and down all of Manhattan throughout the day.

I'd tag a certain someone, but it's been somewhat peaceful here lately.

Looks like the mind control chips covid vaccine is working.

Co-worker got the first vaccine, no side effects except this odd bruising pattern:

J&J been f***ing people up. My initial aversion was simply based on efficacy, but after reading these reports of adverse reactions lately, my attitude seems even more reasonable. So far, I really haven't heard of any similar difficulties with the mRNA doses.

Had to take my daughter for an MRI yesterday.  Right off the check-in area was the post vaccine observation area...they carted some guy looked to be about my age out in a hospital bed.  Must have had a pretty bad reaction.  Made me a little nervous.

There was a similar situation when mf GF got hers. They had a lady lying on a stretcher behind a partition. I think the most common adverse reaction when getting the shot are fainting spells, so this is probably a typical precaution if someone is feeling seriously lightheaded. Still, though, I've heard of people be seriously knocked on their ass in the days following. Some school in PA had like scores of teachers out at the same time because they all got J&J, and it messed them up bad enough to be out of work for a few days. I think some of this has to just be related to dosage.

Yeah, 1 shot is nice, but I'm sure since it's one shot, they're also loading you up in a way that just isn't necessary with two doses. It's a shock to the system for some people. I understand that the mRNA doses are chemically different, but I'm sure that spacing out the dose over a few weeks is just much easier on the body. It has some time to adjust/acclimate.

None of you would have any worries if you got the J&J injection - I imagine you've all had plenty of johnsons injected into you in the past and you're all still here

So reason # (mashes keyboard) why I'm glad I no longer live in Denver

Not that there is anything wrong with that...

It's Johnson AND Johnson though. I'm only used to one at a time.

I'm not, but I'll read it occasionally if I'm bored.

Nothing wrong with it at all. I was going for Broncos colors so I was limited to the detail we could put in his face.

I am now a 5G hotspot courtesy of Moderna. 💉🖥💻
