Not sure how this works in the US, but Canada is counting Covid deaths as anyone that dies with the virus but not necessarily because of the virus. If that's how Covid deaths are being counted in the US, then logically it would make sense to count vaccine deaths in a similar manner.

It’s sort of the same way we count how black people die WITH a knee on a their neck, not BECAUSE of it.

I really dislike the pessimism that Scientists have.

In the UK today we've been warned of a third wave in the summer. I mean really? We didn't have a wave in the summer last year because the weather is not favourable for viruses. On top of that we are doing well with the vaccine roll out and by summer most of the adult population will have been vaccinated.

Keeping the population scared is how you control them

So the fear of an increase in cases is unwarranted? Have I got that right, Joe?

Scientists or paid advisors to the drug companies?  Get used to it.  They’ve all realized how much money they can collect from insurance companies.

I believe so yes. Summer months, population mostly vaccinated, bit by bit easing of restrictions.

Oh I agree with you. We're on pace to revert back to late summer levels in about 4 weeks or so. It's Joe that might have a hard time reconciling these two conflicting positions of his.

I don’t think the UK has the same problem with vaccine hesitancy as we do

Has or will have? We're currently in a dead heat for doses administered per capita. At the end of summer, maybe they'll be at 60% total population while we're at 55%. It's not a step function, you can't crow about doom and gloom while pretending it's all a lie so the government can control you. These two positions are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I just find it infuriating because it just gives such a negative message and i just don't see the logic behind it.

I can't speak to the messaging there, and while I think there's room for improvement here as well, to be fair to them I know here it's particularly difficult because of how regional outbreaks can be. Michigan is on fire while California is already back to summer levels. Makes it tricky for pubic health officials to speak generally when such disparities can exist.

Are you having an identity crisis?

If we are only at 55% that is not good , How many more variants by then? <_<

You must be the most easily controlled person alive, you come across as a terrified coward.

Based on how you act I'm here I can only assume you're anorexic.

Ok someone spin this as positive

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/21/health/vaccine-nursing-homes-infections.html

"Altogether, 26 facility residents were infected, including 18 who had been vaccinated, and 20 health care personnel were infected, including four who had been vaccinated."

Big oof

Variants as far as the eye can see. So many variants you won't know what to do with all of them. Infinity variants.

We we have all the best variants in the US. Nobody does variants like we do. In fact we might ship some of our variants to other countries and we’ll tax the hell out of them for it.

You won’t be joking when one of the variants gets you
