This was the perfect opportunity to show the importance of taking care of yourself. We went the opposite direction and showed obese women on the cover of magazines and that is supposed to be healthy. 100 percent this. The fact that it's hardly reported that somewhere around 80 percent of hospitalizations are obese people is pathetic.

Yeah, our HS just had to close for deep-cleaning because of 7 positives in the last 14 days. The virus is definitely seeking out younger populations with the older ones being vaccinated.

So hopefully enough adults get vaccinated and the kids can herd it up. #onlythesmartsurvive #maytheoddsbeforeverinthekidsfavor

Grandson been virtual learning all year, but will be returning to class next week so they can give PSAT exams. His stepmom is immunodeficient from cancer treatments. Radiation did a lot of damage so they’ve been very careful to follow COVID protocol. She asked about getting vaccine, but was told to wait till she gets stronger.

They offered a bus service, but I just drop him off and pick him up each day. He's in school for 2 hours, and he's in a room with only other livestreamers, with no more than 10 to a room. Very happy with how they've handled it, but there is also the option for religious exemption for those that are not comfortable sending their kids in for the tests.

During all the back and forth over this, it's easy to forget that there are people who don't get to make the choices we have. I hope everything works out OK.
April 29, 20214 yr For those of us with kids, Biontech CEO says by end of July they hope to have trial results for 5 to 11 year olds, and then project about 6 weeks to assess the data and follow it up with an application for approval which would put us somewhere in the September time frame for a possible EUA for that age group (though the context is for EMA approval, presumably the timing would be similar to submit to the FDA as well.) For the under 5 group, an additional 2 months is expected from the above timeframe.

Yes, she is out there, but it seems that this article is taking one part of immigrants and making it seem that this is what she’s referring to. She’s referring to illegal aliens, which, technically they don’t get testing if they come in without being caught. The article does note that those who are caught and in the camps are tested and quarantined. Her tweet though is vague about who she’s referring to with the illegal aliens. If it’s the ones seeking amnesty, she’s wrong. If it’s the ones who come across and don’t get caught, she’s right. Though it’s not a great argument, as it’s like saying those who steal items and don’t get caught don’t have to pay for things. Technically, they’re not paying, but if they get caught, they get punished.
