Same, I always go wherever they're in town. The Vick and Shady game in 2010 was my favorite. Lions fans were cocky early on and I kept warning them that they wouldn't be like that for long.

That game launched Vick into the starting role. I remember the Lions making a game of it towards the end, but the Eagles offense looked great that day. I had some nosebleed seats in one of the end zones and we had a great time. Ford Field is a really nice venue.

"Oh no, voters want more freedom and less government dictation of their everyday lives! So dumb!"

I honestly can't believe people actually think that way, but here we are.

Ultimately, this measure is unnecessary because the legislature can already terminate an emergency declaration. They just needed a 2/3 majority to do so, which ensures that such an action would be done with the full support of the electorate and would be unlikely to pass for political gamesmanship. These measures pertain to what are truly matters or life or death; changing the Constitution to allow for termination by simple majority would inevitably put EVERY future state of emergency at the whims of unscrupulous PA Republicans. This is a power-grab, pure and simple.

I never said anything about believing that shedding is occuring, I'm simply following the reports......hopefully we'll find out in due time, until them I will distance myself from everyone that I know who took the "stupid jab".

Please do

Ah, so limiting the powers of the government is a power grab in this instance. That's something.

The funny part is he thinks that the over 6' of distance between him and other human beings is HIS choice.

SPOILER ALERT: Non-insane people tend to avoid insane people.

it doesn't "limit" the powers of government. it limits the power of the governor to respond to a crisis, and expands the power of a feckless legislature that has been gerrymandered into permanent Republican control.

we already know you're stupid. you don't have to continuously demonstrate it. take a day off.

A power grab for a legislature that is consistently in the hands of a slight Republican majority, yes. It's a matter of such importance that I think the 2/3 requirement was reasonable.

 how are your knees feeling?

No further problems after walking the issue out of both knees.

As for TheClownDownUnder, if there were an internet stalking charge on the books I'd be on the phone right now, dude is some sort of pervert.....and he isn't alone.

Also, quite the dirty trick to put Constitutional Amendment proposals on an off-year primary ballot. Republicans knew that the turnout heavily skews in their favor for local primaries. Now, yeah, I hate that Democrats absolutely suck at getting to the polls, and ultimately it's on them, but it doesn't change the fact that PA Republicans are monumental scumbags sacrificing the health and wellbeing of Pennsylvanians to score political points with their braindead base.

It's only a power grab if the other party grabs it.  Oh and F Wolf.

So it limits the power of the governor and gives it to a larger group of elected officials, so that the insane amount of power has to be approved by more than one person before it can be wielded. Gee, that sounds terrible. Riot Kitchen whining about this is another great example of his moderation.

You answered your own complaint. Decisions are made by those who show up.

Yes, I just quoted President Bartlett.

Hmm, seems like someone has a problem with basic democracy in action. If this is an unpopular move, those Republicans will be ousted and full control of being able to lock down the entire state will be restored to the democrats, who will only use that power responsibly. Why do you hate democracy so much?

Clown show.  Runs around making absurdly false claims, and those who stand up against nonsense with facts are stalkers.  Cowards way out of being owned repeatedly about his lies.

Well, Kz, considering your position here, I'm sure you'll have no problem dropping the filibuster, right? Bare majorities FTW! What's good for the goose is good for the gander!

Don't change the subject. We were talking about how you hate democracy in action.
