You're right...I've only made two brief posts since I've been here. Just walking to get coffee now while the gf gets dressed for brunch.

Just went to the supermarket and was able to enter without a mask for the first time in over a year  

Am I the only one who doesn’t give a bats ass where the virus came from? So it was made in and leaked from a lab. I almost feel better about that because at least the scientists know what they’re dealing with. If it actually came from a bat and was truly a brand new virus then who knows how long it would have taken to study and find the treatments and cures.  The result was the same regardless.  It spread wildly and over 1.5m people died from it.  Time to move on from the conspiracy theories.

If its uncovered that they did in fact modify the virus to be more virulent and also have a longer incubation period, it would raise the question as to why.  Biological warfare?

If you don’t think they have a virus that could wipe the planet clean tomorrow, you’re kidding yourself.  That’s not conspiracy that’s just science. These things already exist and the point of studying them is to learn how to defeat it when the crap actually hits the fan.  Oh, and to fill the pockets of the rich and powerful by developing conveniently necessary vaccines and annual boosters.  That last part is conspiracy 😆 

case in point is polio. Currently there are less than 500 cases in the world. If they stopped vaccinating tomorrow, within 10 years it would infect 500,000 people annually. They have polio and variants in storage so they can be prepared should they need to study new variants on it and such.  They won’t ever destroy the samples until it’s 100% wiped from the planet which isn’t ever likely to happen.

Personally, I'm waiting for my state to really raise the prize pool before I get mine. I'm talking guaranteed cash and prizes, not just some lame lottery chance.

There's no masking exemption for vaccinated people in HI. I had to even get a covid test to get here and skip quarantine.

Testing must be way down, number of cases have really dropped off even in Trumplands during the past week
