I don't remember that one infecting millions of people on the entire planet and flooding the medical system either, so yeah, we didn't stop living because of it.

H1N1 had a significantly lower mortality rate than the seasonal flu. The comparison to Zika is just absolutely laughable. May 17, 20205 yr I wouldn't say Texas is really reopened. I mean, we have neighborhood pools that are open 12 months of the year that are still closed down. They also canceled the neighborhood swim team this year, which starts at the beginning of May (it's already in the 90s by then). Contrast that with the pictures of the crowded boardwalks in Jersey I've been seeing... it looks like y'all are getting outside up there.
