If you think drug reps are giving out tropical vacations at a pediatricians office you know even less about this than I thought. I'd be lucky to get score greyhound tickets to Gary Indiana.

It was mostly replaced with advertising directly to customer, hence the commercials with the wall of text warnings and side effects.

Yep I remember shadowing people in highschool and seeing all sorts of rep meetings, but now not so much. Even back then though I doubt they'd have been clamouring for the private pediatrician group with 50% medicaid patients. My office's "no rep" policy is kinda like a fat guy sitting on the couch saying he wouldn't date the supermodel actress cause of something she said. It's a great sentiment and all but Brie Larson wasn't ever going to F you either way fatso.

Youtube workout videos can only get you so far. I still think people freaking out about it is Fing moronic but I at least get it more than bishing about a haircut.

Powerlifters, people who swim etc are kinda just stuck doing meh exercises. But again, people freaking out about it are dumb even if I see where it's coming from.
May 18, 20205 yr did you guys see the trump supporters in west virgina protesting that the government open up the libraries? they staged a read-in outside the front doors. there was quite a turnout.

It only secondarily even touches on the role of government intervention into propping up businesses/individuals. Here's all it says: Quote Firms may also temporarily shutter their doors and send their workers into the labor force as potential temporary employees in areas that need them to produce vital necessities. (Instead, the government approach has been to propose bailouts and universal income checks while in some cases mandating the clear waste of resources.) I mean, that's a pretty limited view of what to do with the 40 million + people that are currently unemployed or furloughed. There aren't enough businesses that were essential enough to stay open to employ anywhere near all the people that were without work. Furthermore, none of this takes into account the public health aspect to all of this, which is of course, the main problem here. The more people that are out in the world, the less control we had over stopping the spread of the virus, which is why direct money from the government is the only thing that made any sense. Now, with things opening up to a degree, that calculous changes. But we're still not where this article supposes we are, because, again, we're still dealing with a public health crisis and some businesses aren't going to be able to open up, meaning a lot of people aren't going to be able to work, even with increased demand in certain sectors. Like I said, these free market principals just don't provide solutions when what's holding our economy down is a deadly virus spread by human contact. Don't have time to read the second link right now, but I'll try later on.
