He said he won't see her in her last days because then he would have to quarantine and wouldn't be able to open his gym. People are effing insane.

The majority of people I know live separately from their elder relatives whether those elders live in a nursing home or have an at home nurse/caretaker. If you live with someone over 65 then yeah you're going to have to be more careful. You don't have to choose one or the other idk why you think everything in absolutes. They can still go out, but they would have to take a ton of extra measures when they returned home. Wash hands before going into the house, leave shoes outside, change clothes in garage/backyard and shower right after returning home. Avoid contact with those relatives until you've showered.
