I would absolutely love if they were able to get Bradley Beal. He is a perfect fit on this roster and he is super young still. That said I have no clue how they would be able to pull that off without giving up Ben Simmons or Joel and beat. I can’t imagine the wizards look at our roster and assets and say yeah I’ll take Tobias Harris, a couple first round picks and Thybulle

agreed.  that would be like the barkley to the suns trade...and i'm certain they don't want to get rid of beal that badly.

I'm interested in derizan if we can't get any of the others.

He's not harden but it would feel on par with the Butler move.

If you can package around Horford, or even Richardson.

Derozan picked up his 27M option.

He can’t shoot from 3 to save his life.

10 dollars on pump five sir.

The 76ers received multiple trade calls for Matisse Thybulle, source says.

Philly has relayed the message that Thybulle isn’t available.

So many kids on the draft tonight that like from pick 10 to 25 that can fit roles within the team

i wouldn't be surprised to see josh richardson moved tonight....or later this offseason. he's in the last year of his deal if he opts out after this season...and he will.  plus he wasn't a great fit last season. they either trade him now or lose him for nothing next offseason.

A little snippet from back in October about the Westbrook trade...New owner and Harden basically forced it and Morey did what he had to to get it done despite his reservations.  No wonder he wanted out.  Makes you think twice about Harden, too.

Fellow ESPN writer Tim MacMahon was on as a guest, and gave some insight into one of the biggest decisions Morey made as GM, and perhaps the one that ultimately sealed his fate -- yes, he stepped down voluntarily, but the writing was on the wall for the future of this team as a contender. Per MacMahon, the trade that sent Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Russell Westbrook was orchestrated by Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta and James Harden

While that was widely assumed, and everyone knew of the dysfunctional relationship between Harden and Paul, MacMahon gave some additional insight into the motivation that's pretty notable. Apparently, Fertitta believed Paul had the "worst contract" he'd ever seen.

The full monologue from MacMahon:

That trade was made because Tilman Fertitta wanted it made -- he thought Chris Paul's contract was the worst that he'd ever seen in business or sports -- and because James Harden wanted it made. James Harden, obviously there was a personality clash, this stuff has all been well documented and well reported. I still believe, and I wrote this last summer before things went down. I still believe that if necessary they could have managed that situation; I know a lot of people throughout the organization believe that.

But once Westbrook became available, they saw an opportunity that Fertitta and Harden wanted to pounce on, and they pounced on that. Daryl Morey was the biggest Chris Paul backer in the organization. Nobody -- Daryl or anybody else -- has ever told me that he made that trade with objections, that he made that trade despite not fully believing in it. But I just can't help but think that it was a deal where basically, his two bosses -- Fertitta and Harden -- said 'hey, we want this deal made, get it done.' And he did what he had to do to get it done.

I thought he's improved it. Without looking at stats,  I think he's probably more of a threat than Butler was.  Plus, he attempts them which is nice.

Derozan attempts the amount that butler makes. They’re both kind of bad from 3 but Butler is better.

Would be nice to get a 15 to 20 pick for him.

Any of these will do

Kira Lewis,  Precious Achiuwa, Maxey, Cole Anthony, Tyrell Terry

PASS ON RJ HAMPTON

He sucks from 3.  He's a mid range, layup guy.  Good at those but he would not help our teams spacing even a little.

He didn't and almost like he refuses to adapt to the modern game. He attempted .5 and .6 from 3 last 2 years

Ok then.

I was under the impression that he improved the 3 recently in his career.

I'm not interested if he still can't shoot.

I figured he was at least around 35-36% which is where butler supposedly was when we got him, even though he never shot well even at mid-range for us.

Weird.  Any time I looked i thought he was taking about 3-4 a game.

Did we win the draft yet?

Thoughts on who the guys could be that we trade for to send for Harden?

I'm thinking,  without trading Simon's,  who could we really get that is better than the nets offer? Hield is not it.

On the subject of DeRozan, could possibly see him as being a centerpiece of the deal. Hes better than those nets players,  and offers the Rockets cap relief if they'd want that too.

Possibly a Horford, Richardson +picks deal for DeRozan and White.

Then,  DeRozan, White, Thybulle, Zaire and picks/swaps for Harden.

However,  this again depletes our assets to 0, and you still need to trade Ben for other pieces to make it work.

I just don't get why Morey is so attached. Harden is so obviously better than Ben, and also a better fit as well. This should be a no brainer.

He may just be waiting it out to give less draft picks/assets besides Ben.

Seeing info linked to us wanting to draft aaron nesmith if he falls. He had a foot injury in January. We're a glutton for torture and punishment if this happens. Smh

When you look at curry from gsw, he had a similar injury to blossom path as Ben. So it's understandable.
