Danny Green and Mike Scott account for 20M in expiring contract money. Key for trading Richardsons 10M and actually matching money for a larger contract. 

I think I might be happier with Beal.  Still only 27, plays better defense and is still a 3 level scorer, just quite not as dominant.

What? Tell me how you stop that pick and roll or pick and pop. 

Beal showed this year he can be a primary ball hander with Wall injured. 

You are putting two top 20 players that actually fit in their prime together

For the ones who want to keep Simmons to see what the new coaches can get out of him, he still will not shoot.  He has had ample opportunity to practice his shooting and integrate it slowly into his game.  He has not done so thus far.  Maybe he will in 2-3 years but I am no longer willing to wait.  And if he doesn't shoot this year, whoever we trade him for will not be at the level of Beal or Harden.

• The Wizards will not trade Bradley Beal before the start of 2020-21. (Fred Katz, The Athletic)

Forget Simmons for Harden or Beal.

You’d definitely have to give up more but the wizards and rockets aren’t going to do a player for player swap and the shouldn’t of Simmons is as bad as people in here want to make him out to be. 

Terrence Ferguson is also in the last year of his deal. There is a QO for next year, Id assume as of now is unlikely we do it. 

I dont know how much space we have to clear to get under the cap after Horford is gone. But Richardson has a player option he could/should decline, Ferguson, Scott, Green is a ton of expiring money off the books for next offseason.

And who do you have to guard the best player on the other team? You don’t have anybody besides embiid who is a plus defender. So you’re gonna score more but you’re also gonna get killed on the defensive end by teams like the nets who have KD or lakers or the warriors assuming Klay and curry is still playing this season. Those teams can score and stop you defensively. You don’t have a plus defender besides embiid and possibly thybulle If he’s still here on the roster as soon as Simmons is gone.

Bradley Beal is awesome I love Bradley Beal. And you’re going to be a much better offensive team but your defense is going to suffer. I think you overlooked the fact that you might score 10 to 15 more points per game on average more but they give up 10 more points on average cause your defense isn’t going to be nearly as good.

Again I look at the Nets roster if Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are healthy and they keep the rest of the guys they have that’s a better roster than just Embiid and Bradley Beal. You need Ben Simmons along with beal and Embiid to be the best team in the east. you are not the best team in the east with just beal and embiid. Unless were under thought that Kevin Durant is not gonna be the same durant anymore.

I would assume if it happens, Ben is not involved.  There are better players we could acquire using Ben.

You have Thybulle as your best defender and he is already elite at that. You start looking for those type of dudes and actually have a direction moving forward. 3 and D and a ball handling PG like Conley or Rubio

I think we get an unlocked Embiid. He absolutely could have a 3 5 year run where he is unguardable. Make him the face of the franchise and I think he will feed off of that. 

 

We have no idea how Kryie is going to be. Can he handle even Durant and his ego or is Kyrie best suited for the Magic where he is the man and no one cares in Orlando

I would love it. Not only because Im high on him, but I LOVE the Bulls roster in general for a trade parener. So many players Id take as throw ins in a deal. 

Richardson, Danny Green, Mike Scott is a cap match for LaVine's 19M. And I dont mind throwing in 2 1sts for him.

He’s developed an outside shot. Is young and athletic enough to play up tempo and run with Simmons. Simmons, Embiid, Lavine is a good start.

Don't forget Tobias.  He should play better under Doc and also with the acquisition of Lavine, should it happen.

a PG from this draft, even if its Tre Jones in round 2, with LaVine, Harris, Ben, and Embiid is nice. Now you got 3 shooters on the perimeter. You can let Doc try out Ben and Joel together. Probably fail and trade Ben at the deadline for something good too.
