The weird cap this year may help but I still think, ultimately, he will get more that we can afford.  I think we'll see more sign and trades for players like him this year to deal with the tight cap space.

bertans had a breakout year & will go to the highest bidder.

yeah, lets not overpay for a bench player. We are already shelling out a lot for a shooting power forward.

i always look it this way, if you cant get a star then plan b fill the spots with vets.

terrible way to look at it. We just got done using a lightly protected 1st rd pick to get out of a vet contract that Elton brought in last summer because there were no "stars" available.

We finally have a GM who is going to fill the spots with fits, period. And the fits for this current team are going to be guys who can shoot, because that is the most important skill set that compliments the two homegrown, most important, star players.

So I guess this means we dont have the trade exception until 12/8

gws

Still looking like Noel with another guard being signed as well. Augustin is towards top and Rivers would be an option if money is an issue. Also trying to move Scott.

Very not excited about DJ Augustine at all. He shot 39% last year. And 34.8 from 3. Pretty terrible.

Give me Clarkson for his shot making.

shayok being waived.

nerlens & derrick white would round out the roster really well, imo.

Oddly enough, the two guys I'd like to see as well. The more White shoots, the better he gets and that defense is filthy.

This dude can shoot lights out!  I watched a long highlight video of him.

He is a career 38% from 3 and a legit back up PG that can run a team. While mentoring Maxey Simmons and others

His career was fine but as he gets older I'm more interested in his recent performances.

Factoring in prime years isn't an accurate representation of what you get anymore.

He shot 42% previous two years. He will be fine. Can't build a team overnight with the lack of assets the Sixers now have

He can get Nerlens, MCW, Jeremi Grant, and Saric is restricted.

I would actually take saric back as a nice bench player. However i know the Suns really like him and want him back.

i meant throw 1 year deals at vets not overpaying them.

I know but there are better,  attainable options.

Me too. I'd love Saric back.

He’d be a great 6th/7th man off the bench for the sixers. But have a feeling he makes more than we can afford

Probably what people were saying about the Jason Richardson and Skip Bayless signings.  This looks like another one of those to me.

Jamychal Green is out there, I have always been a fan. Team player and a solid backup at the 4. we could do worse

Well the Suns gave saric a qualifying offer. So they can match anything so you’d like have to overpay which wouldn’t be smart

Jevon Carter would have been amazing.

I kinda liked Pelle as a bench 5
