Plumlee 3/25

Danio 3/61

Marcus Morris 4/64

Are the crazy ones to me especially Morris, but they really didn't have a choice with no cap flexibility and trading for him ala Tobias Harris

It is Beal's team and he feels slighted

Clippers couldn't afford to lose anymore bench players/ role players. That team is looking like a 1 year run and done.

And everyone can opt out next year

Helps having the richest owner who will spend and live in the luxury tax

Howard is a weirdo, I guess any sign of trouble you can cut bait from that deal. Also would be tough to ever have him on the floor with Simmons. All in all it’s a backup center and I can’t believe the turnaround on this roster. If they found a taker for Harris, Morey should get a lifetime contract.

Don't be surprised if he all of a sudden has phantom injuries all year. He was pissy with the lakers because he thought he should of been paid a lot more. After the championship he gloated a lot and basically made out like he was the one that carried them to a championship and said he deserves a lot more money.

Well he didn't get anymore from the lakers and now he has to play in Philly for mid-level. So I think he will be having his chronic back issues that show up when he doesn't get his way.

I was a huge Dwight fan back in the day, those teams from 08-10 were pretty loaded. The thing about dwight is that he became a huge prima donna... he still is. Hell of a player and I am glad that he is here (even at his age) but he has a fragile personality.

The clippers are screwed. Everyone will leave after next year because no one cares about loyalty anymore. I find it funny that Paul and Leonard hitched their wagon to an awesome clippers team that was stacked with great depth and now everyone is leaving them to fend for themselves for a year

Agree, I thought he was going to dominate the league kind of like shaq. Once he had the drama with the magic and went to the lakers and Kobe called him out he was exposed and he hasn't bounced back. He matured a little over this past season but, he still is soft and fragile when it comes to his ego.

The biggest problem was how much everyone on that team hated paul George and why most of that team are leaving. I thought he was a stand up guy and a leader.... Well that was shown to be false.

Also doc getting fired didn't help

I'm looking at the Joe Harris contract with the Nets, 4 years/75MM, and liking the Curry trade even more than I did initially.

Yeah Joe Harris is a complete waste other than stand still shooting. So not worth that contact.  Bertans doubling his salary is kind of wild too.

The curry contract looks like one of the best values in the NBA now.  He's way better than Harris. Bertans is pretty even i think but now curry is getting paid about half a much.

my god the deals that are going on in this free agency is insane, i mean none of these guys are stars and they are getting paid like them. im glad morey is not even bitting on them. that's why im saying give out one year deals to over the hills vet since they want less money to compete for a championship and hopefully next year, they might be able to bring in a star if not repeat the process.

Morey Twitter 🔥🔥🔥🔥

if dwight can give us this off the bench this year:

Dwight Howard 2019-2020 Highlight Reel I WELCOME TO THE SIXERS - YouTube

i won't even be mad.

i'd also like to pick up rondo, but there's talks he'll sign with atlanta.  any time you can pick up pieces from a championship team to be bench contributors, never hurts.  if sixers add rondo and keep green, that would be three pieces including dwight from that championship laker squad.  not bad, especially if they are not counted on being the stars and you're bolstering your bench...  something which was also sorely needed last year.

Maxey's ability to handle with his off hand and finish is NBA lvl

Jesus...these contracts make Joel's and Ben's look like bargains......and that is even with all their faults......

I hope he does well here, but Morey is the most overrated GM in sports. Color me unimpressed that he came in 3rd or 4th a bunch of times. Like the NBA Joe Banner.

neto to the wiz

can't overpay for free agents when you have no cap room to sign any.

He barely look a decrease in pay. His gamble payed off and then some.

Roster starting to not make sense and might be able to pick of Miles Bridges or a G, not Rozier

It is hard to compete when your owner doesn't want to pay luxury tax so the fact he kept the Rockets relevant is actually pretty amazing

Keep an eye on Jae Crowder. Few teams involved but if he takes MLE, Sixers are very possible

All that I have watched shows him willing to put it on the floor with his left,  but always, always finishes right.

I was thinking of him as a possibility.

His shot is hot and cold though... but he can defend and occasionally hit 3s.

He would be what Mike Scott could have been if Scott defended as well as people thought he did.

Funny thing is that tweet I posted last night saying only 3 teams had more than 10M in cap space.

This means the few teams with any space are blowing it all on star contracts for guys like Clarkson, bertans and Joe Harris.

Terrible management.  Feel bad for fans with GMs like that.  We know how that is.
