Darryl should not have openly said harden was the greatest scorer ever. It's bad for negotiations.

yep theres a universe that is crystallizing more every day where the offer is Tobias, Maxey, Thybulle and picks/pick swaps for Harden. Hardens value would have to continue to plummet (clashing with John Wall once games start + HOU being at the bottom of the standings) but it's a possibility. And it only is because Morey played this like a boss from the start, by putting out that Simmons wasn't available, when we all were saying trade him. Just now need Miami to not want to include Herro. HOU definitely isn't accepting that ragtag offer from BKN. 

I would trade Ben and that over grown child Joel...just to rid the team of the two problems.  But not for "Me First" Harden.  The drama between he and Joel could be epic.  

How about a three team trade? Miami can have Harden, Houston gets Simmons, and we get Butler back. Those would be the main pieces, obviously other players thrown in to make things work.

Really it feels we should ride out with what we have.

Unfortunately, you win in this league with 2 to 3 superstars and supporting cast....you don't win with a bunch of good players (except maybe for Toronto the one year).....so if you think you can get Harden for Simmons (and THAT IS IT), then you have Embid, Harden and Harris with Green, Howard, Maxey, Curry, Thybulle and the rest.......honestly, I do think that wins the East, now does it win the championship?  I don't know but I don't think we are winning it with Simmons and not because I don't think he isn't a great talent, he just isn't a great player.  At least not yet........

I know NBC Sports Philadelphia will be broadcasting it.  Not sure on NBA TV.  Looks like it will be on TNT, too.

But agree and think just giving up Ben makes the favorites in the East and legit title contenders. Hard truth is Ben and Joel can't get that far.
