Im ready for tomorrow's game. This horrible Cleveland team gave us fits last year with their 2 guards. I wonder if we will handle teams like that better this year.

you look at his defense, and then you notice how hes like a 6th defender for the other team when he is bogging down our own offense. His defensive contributions are negated by how badly he hurts the team on the other end.

In that regard, he does nothing positive. Those plays are quickly wiped out.

If he wasnt the #1 pick, hed be out of the rotation by year 2 like Thybulle is. Simmons is a taller thybulle. Love the flashy steals. He gives you nothing else. Except Simmons is actually worse on offense because at least Thybulle disappears on that end rather than actively stopping the flow of the offense like Ben does.

Whatever you wanna say dude. I’m not gonna get an argument with you. I think it’s a pretty ridiculous take that you could sit there and say he doesn’t give you anything positive whatsoever. Again that is a laughable take imo

defending ben is the most ridiculous thing thats ever happened in the existence of the new board.

Season 3 of 6ers outsiders. wow!

Krystle's boobs are looking smaller. This show is headed in the wrong direction.

Great hyperbole by you. Whatever you wanna say.  The fact you sticking with that take and defending it is more ridiculous.

Don't bother.  Team has closed out 2 games strong in the 4th which is something that never happened under BB.  Embiid and Ben have both played good in crunch time.  They're 2 games and 2 wins into a totally new system in all aspects.  Ben has a fault.  Blinds them to all he does good.

you really believe the simmonds is going to give 30 points a game? he cant even score 20, we are not going to win a championship with that type of production. lakers have more than 2 players that can score 20, that's why they won the championship. embiid is not enough, love or hate harden, it's about winning a championship otherwise we are 2011 sixers.

Harden needs the ball in his hands a lot to get his 30 points.  I’m not sure how much you watch the Rockets, but he doesn’t get to 30 shooting 10-15 from the field.  Harden’s best skill is getting fouled.  He gets to the line more than anyone in the league.

Last year had me wanting to pull my hair out between Brett Brown’s coaching and our square pegs in round holes personnel wise. These first two games have been refreshing. I have only screamed at my tv half as much. Feeling optimistic.

Tons of people would make the case you are seeing it backwards. Ben does something good, blinds you to all he does bad. To say he has a fault as if there is one singular thing he does wrong proves you arent seeing it clearly.

Its nice to go on the road and easily win a game we should win. Wouldnt have happened last year. But Ben is as frustrating as ever and taking away a lot of the enjoyment for me. He cant be gone soon enough. Seeing his countless bad plays on offense makes me wonder just how good this team could be without him.

We won't make it out of the east without Ben. Kd will destroy us. Gianni's? Well...

I'm gonna say this regardless of people's thoughts on Ben and Embiid,  this team is winning when it counts. NBA games are won in the 4th and this coach and team have done a great job in the first 2 games.  Limited sample but these are good signs.  B2B should test their conditioning tomorrow. Cavs went to double OT, too.  Going to be some tired legs and ugly ball imo.

And those still count as real points so who cares where the points come from.  Harden has been getting to the line 10+ times a game since 15/16 and averaging 86%, this isnt some fluke.

Ben scored 5 of his 15 points in the final four minutes when the game was already in hand against one of the worst teams in the league. Let's see them close out against an elite team before saying they improved by beating the Wiz, who just lost to an average Magic team, and the horrible Knicks. 15 points just isn't enough to contend for a title from your "superstar".

When Embiid gets sick again or goes through lazy stretches, it’ll somehow be Ben’s fault.  But make no mistake, I want them both gone.

You can argue pro's and con's of having Ben.....during the regular season.  There is little to no argument about how terrible Ben is in the playoffs.  He will get some rebounds and score some transition points but in the 4th quarter of a playoff game round 2 or further, he is completely useless and detriment to the offense.

He is right now.  They can just win despite that in the regular season.

Dwight Howard is the anti Horford.  He could be a starter still.  We don't lose too much when he comes in or if he has to start 10-15 games.  He can rim protect, get boards and play some offense.  He actually has better cardio then Joel at age 35, which isn't much of a surprise.

Harden with 44 points and 17 assist in his first game.  Don't need him.

Ben, Matisse and next years 1 for Harden and I'm in....

And I bet his shot is still broken. One player with a busted shot is enough

Are you aware of Harden’s playoff duds?

Ben was +22 last night

Plus minus is a team stat to me, it doesnt equate to the other 9 guys on the floor.

Harden's playoff "duds" is a career high night for Ben in the playoffs.  Harden scores 25-30 points a night in the playoffs.  In the 4th quarter when Ben is playing hide in the corner or clog the lane just so he can be on the court, Harden is drawing double teams and still scoring or at least opening up things for others.  Ben does the complete opposite.  Not only he is 0 threat in the half court offense, he is making life much worse for the rest of the team because the defense will double team Joel and can play half way between wherever Ben is and the next closest shooter.
