Doc is enabling Ben too and tells him how great he is. Ben even said it that Doc acknowledges him when he does a great job. Embiid and Ben are both babies.

Ive said a lot before, when people are in here talking about building around Embiid- if this is his prime and youre already having him miss 20+ games and looking sloppy and slow and sick for half of the ones he actually plays in, then how the hell do you build around that? And if this is his prime, whats he gonna be in 2-3 years when hes on the down slope of his career? I cant even imagine how bad....

This is why Ive always said, Im good with trading both.

But, if you wanted to try to do something drastic to win now, you do keep Embiid. Because he is occasionally good. Ben already sucks. Hes entering his prime, and has never developed a single basketball skill since entering the league. Not one. And he is a detriment to the team every single night. 

So you trade Ben right now. Do something big. Try this season with Embiid and whichever trade target you can land for Ben.  Maybe trade Joel as well next year. Or keep him one more year, but you move on after that. 

I dont want either of these guys on the team in 3 years. This year, and next is it. And next year better only be 1, not both.

I don't have the patience to wait another 5-7 years before there is a chance we can be contenders.  I am not trading Embiid for 2 years.

Embiid is most likely not making you a contender. you see what he looks like by the time playoffs roll around every year. 

Embiid only has 3 years left on his deal. I give him this year, and mayybe next. But if theres a good offer for him next year, Id take it. 

By his final year, Im definitely looking to extract any trade value he has left at that point. Because sure as hell dont want to extend him on a big contract he will get.

dont think McCollum is worth that. As low as my opinion of Ben is, I think he has value around the league. Look at Doc looking foolish keeping him at PG and talking him up every day sine he got here.

correct on the valuation.

But Id do it.

And Id complain about all the horrible shots CJ takes. But Id still be happy cause itd be a heck of a lot nicer to watch than Ben pretending to know how to play basketball.
