I have no idea how they won this game but they did. 

theyre still so frustrating to watch. Even in wins, its a miserable time. One problem is gone, but the other problem, just as big, still exists. 

I don’t find it that odd that people find Ben Simmons extremely frustrating to watch.  I was just reading Spike Eskin’s tweets.

i.e.

what I find funny is the idea that Harden isn’t going to be frustrating to watch playing with Joel Embiid. It just seems like a horrible match to me.

 

 

Ben simmons is horrific and needs to be traded. The problem is that there aren't many good players Available besides harden. I wonder if lavine is available for trade, does lavine and Ben have value to teams for someone like a booker or beal or another elite wing player. 

I think Ben has a lot of value still but for the right team. Like Warriors wanting to replace Draymond Green

Yep.  And people don't care how he makes the offense struggle every second that he's on his court.  Because he gets some nice steals each game. His offense by far negates any defensive contribution that he makes.

i don't like giving up that 2023 1st since harden will most likely opt out in 2022...but it's not a terrible deal. giving up 3 guys who most likely won't develop into good shooters for one of the best scorers in nba history. he's a throw in but tucker can provide defense & is on an expiring deal. 

idk who would start but a core group of harden, seth, shake, green, tucker, tobi, embiid, & dwight wouldn't be horrible. then you'd have kork & scott as depth pieces. am i forgetting anyone else?

i dont want to give up on ben , but its going to be the same result in the playoffs if he doesnt grow a set and shoot the damn ball. 

Embiid keeps up these numbers and plays enough games he will be in the MVP race. He has about the same numbers as Shaq did in 2000 when he won. He is dominant right now

He's playing well but he seriously needs to work on his hand eye coordination.  He has stone hands.  He fumbles or drops easy passes a few times a game and sometimes messes up his dribble when there is little to no pressure.  That is probably too much to ask for though.  I will be content with adequate cardio.

Embiid and Harden would compliment each others games.  Teams who help on a Harden drive, would be leaving Embiid open underneath, and teams wouldn't be able to cheat off of Harden on the perimeter, leaving Embiid a lot more room to operate in the paint.  Neither would likely get the numbers they could if they were the sole focal point of the offense, but the team would be a lot better offensively because of their pairing.

I really wish we could do this without giving up Maxey. Maybe Green's expiring contract? Either way, Embiid and Harden is a great combo. You have to go all in to try and win before Embiid's decline, so I see no reason not to go for it.

If Ben does not dress with either a mysterious injury or a rest day in the next two games, we know its going down.
