It's gotta be a cover up so his value doesn't drop.

I really hope so.

I cant imagine Doc took the job, got to work watching film and diagnosing last years issues. Came up with the starting lineup. And decided Ben would be a great PG and he doesnt need to shoot.

Even if he did, and if he wants to keep Ben as a defensive stopper, hes got to realize this team needs a second scorer. And we dont have one.

Tobias is a nice 15-20 consistently. But thats not enough. We need another nightly 20+ guy in the lineup.

I just read an article stating that they will not move on from simmons until they see if doc can make it work with with him and Embiid.

I am seriously doubting they trade ben this year or wait till it's to late and Ben shows how much of a problem he still is and or Embiid gets hurt.

any coach worthy of the NBA should see it blatantly obvious already that this isnt working. The starters have sucked in every single game every reason you can think of can be linked to Ben Simmons.

Also just watched this.

Thats really dumb casual fan type speculation based on something extremely superficial (a 3-1 record) devoid of any sort of actual basketball analysis. Anyone who is more than a casual watcher and box score checker has seen this team and how miserable the starting lineup looks. Has seen ben looking horrific and completely unchanged and knows its time to make a move.

I really doubt basketball people in the organization can be happy with what theyve seen from this team despite the record, against bad teams, so far.

gws has hinted at january 1st deadline to trade certain assets, and recently just ducked out on the realgm boards saying nothing new and wont be around for a few days. That guy has been pretty useless for meaningful information this season. Supposedly has an embiid connected source, but its not working for him this season. Now he wont even be around on the date hes been telling us all to watch for.

I don’t find it that odd that people find Ben Simmons extremely frustrating to watch.  I was just reading Spike Eskin’s tweets.

i.e.

what I find funny is the idea that Harden isn’t going to be frustrating to watch playing with Joel Embiid. It just seems like a horrible match to me.

I don't understand why people think this.  Harden is a hate-able player for sure, but his fit with Embiid on the floor would be perfect.  With defenders having to respect Harden and his step back 3 from 36 feet away and Embiid under the basket, the spacing on the floor this creates is totally ideal.  Not to mention, with Harden hogging the ball for half of every possession, this is less time for Embiid to put the ball on the floor.

It’s a near mathematical certainty.

The only sure thing is you being wrong.

It's a sure thing!! Even though his teams have done squat with all his amazing iso scoring that no one that plays with him wants to deal with.

Westbrook is another stat stuffing jackass. That's why they can't play together. Only care about their own stats and don't get them within the scheme and flow of the game.

Dude gets 30 a night eating strip club wings. Superstars always get preferred treatment. Kawhi lives in San Diego and takes a helo to LA. You live with it to have s top tier player still in his prime

Harden isn’t Kawhi or LeBron though.  Not even close.

Harden is a Top 35 player of all time

Those guys arent available.

Know anyone better than Harden who is, or may be soon this season?

Beal skipped a media session after their last loss so maybe theres a chance there, but he will cost a lot more than the rumored Harden deals.
