I'm not, but to think this is a championship contenders with Simmons is outrageous. 

He might not but he absolutely gives the team a Chance. 

He took this team to 7 games vs Klay, Durant, Steph, and Green. With Chris Paul hurt half the series.

He has a owner that refuses to go into the luxury tax and truly compete with the big boys. That was a huge disadvantage for Morey and hamstrung to compete.

9 assists a game over the last 5 years and top 10 all those years. Not to mention his ISO averages over 1.17 point per possession which is highest in the NBA. Stats and advanced analytics mean nothing, over your eye. 

So lets hear who you want, you cant get young talent that needs to develop because wasting Embiid prime years. No other team is trading their stars and getting 3 guys of lesser talent never works out. 

To think Harden doesn't make them legit title contenders is hilarious and a dumb take with Embiid playing like an MVP.

you cant just wait until a steph curry or lebron james type of player that wins championships comes available by that time embiid could be broken down we will have to tank again. look at the celtics when they won a championship in 08, the  superstar players they added won nothing from those teams, because they were the only stars on those teams, they werent surrounded by other stars.

harden is having the same issues like what embiid is going through now, it's only him and no one else. you wont win championships like that, look at AI.

I have a hard time finding anyone Id want other than Harden on that roster.

They’re not good this year.  Which is part of the reason Harden can go off for 44 points and also have 17 assists in a game.  Within the last few years though they were a 65-win team.  You knew that, right?

Harden for Simmons makes no sense.  We'd be gaining maybe 10 or so PPG but likely giving up that many or more...Harden doesn't play defense...like zero.  And from what I hear, he's not really a "team player"...basically pads his scoring stats.

Who cares about age when the window with Embiid is probably a couple of years. 

Simmons defensive win share last 2 years 3.6 and 3.1. While averaging 1.9 blocks 1.9 steals and 4.2 turnovers per 36 last year 

Harden defense win share is 3.8 and 3.2. Averaged .9 blocks and 1.8 steals with 4.5 turnovers per 36.
