they are better. their big weakness last year was shooting, and thats improved. As a bonus their pretty good defense has become elite. HOWEVER, we have played a bunch of absolute crap teams. Lets see if we can continue rolling when the schedule gets a little tougher.

This stretch is encouraging but shouldnt be used as a reason not to trade Ben. As good as we are look, we can be better when we stop playing 4 vs 6 on offense.

Oh I agree, I still want Ben traded.

I never hated him, personally. He always has been a guy that puts in the effort, but he IS frustrating when he goes into one of his long stretches where he’s ice cold.

love finally gettng it to Embiid right under the basket this season. its guaranteed points every single time

Ive always defended him because when hes not scoring hes hitting the boards hard, and good assist numbers for a 4. He finds ways to contribute when the shot isnt falling. Certainly didnt play up to the contract but I just cant hate him. He comes to play every night no matter what. Puts in the work. Good locker room guy.

Man, Curry is better than I realized at finishing. Always knew he was a great shooter but didn’t realize he could take it to the rim like he has been.

Put your huge center under the rim... what a concept. Don’t know how Brown could never figure that out.

theyve tried it for ben a bunch of times tonight and he has blown every opportunity that I can recall. Just blew another.  Thats gotta be Joel every time. F ben. Giving him those looks when its an automatic bucket for Joel is costing us points.

On a more negative note... never been a Danny Green fan, and he’s certainly not changing my mind right now.

By the way, Ben for Rozier makes this team way better.  Charlotte can add about 10M more in filler players. Take your pick.

I’ll take anyone other than Ball.

But I prefer to live in a fantasy world where a Ben for Beal trade is coming.

Im not either, but tonight has been a career night for him. Hes played better D this year than I thought he was still capable of too.

I wanted rozier years ago when he was a backup on the Celtics. Always thought he was good.

And Ben turns it over on a horrible pass.

How did ben not get that to wide open Shake. Instead passed it to the other team in the post iwth a no look bounce. Idiot.

Maxey is nice with that little floater.

he had Shake, and saw Shake. Even faked it there. Not sure why he didnt let it go. Except that, he sucks.

great swing. Maxey coulda shot it but got a better look for Shake

He’s not a starter

How is that not a foul?

Having Howard over Horford is such a huge difference.

How did Shake improve so much over such a short offseason? Has to be coaching.

doesnt count!

maybe he practiced

 Yes I’m sure he did. Still, how often have we seen players really make this kind of improvement over the last few seasons?

I just watch this team play and it just feels like a more disciplined bunch.

Not often.

Hes gotten so adept at getting to the basket despite lacking athleticism, and finishing.

I still dont think he would do as well against starters. He needs to be a 6th man mostly doing this against bench players. But, I love it. Its a massive improvement nonetheless.

And I don’t want him to be a starter, 6th man role is perfect. If anything, Maxey is the guy I could see eventually developing into a starting PG.

But, how nice is it to have a bench that isn’t awful?
