If we dont trade ben, we need some minor or moderate moves that improve on these two guys.

Even if we do trade ben, I wouldnt mind not getting a superstar in return, opting instead for a 2 or 3 for 1 deal thatd kick Green to the bench for a very good starter, and knock Scott off the team.

Yep. Start Maxey at PG, get a serviceable starter to move Green to the bench plus another good bench shooter. Not sure WHO those guys are, but I’m willing to sacrifice Ben’s defense to get more offense out of Maxey at that position, if it means kicking Green to the bench to upgrade that spot.

green is a defensive specialist & sometimes 3 point shooter. he's the 5th option in the starting lineup & i have no issue with that. i actually think maxey coming off the bench but playing big minutes is fine. they can't win with so many non-nba caliber guys on the floor.  joe can shoot threes but he's awful at everything else. reed is a spaz.  mathias is terrible at everything. and none of those 3 guys can guard anyone. they absolutely kill us on d.

I want Maxey still in that bench role.  But some move needs to happen so that we can bump Green to the bench.

Assuming, Harden or any other elite superstar is off the table,  would you trade picks,  traded exception, thybulle, greens expiring ....some combination of, for zach lavine.

If this could somehow work, puts no pressure on Ben to score and can just be rajon rondo for doc.

I don't know if that gets it done for lavine.

But I've been thinking about green and his 15M expiring packaged with a 1st round pick.  Wondering what kind of player we could get for that.

Covington or someone on that level would be nice I think.

Maybe another package of Thybulle + Mike Scott's expiring for a better bench player as well.

Talks about Beal and why he should request a trade.

https://www.radio.com/94wip/sports/76-ers/bradley-beal-trade-suitors-7-teams-that-could-acquire-star

Philadelphia 76ers
Sixers gets: Beal
Wizards get: Tyrese Maxey, Danny Green, Mike Scott, Isaiah Joe

The Sixers could conceivably acquire Beal without detracting from what you would consider the core nucleus of a team that sat atop the Eastern Conference standings through its first nine games. Green and Scott would provide cap relief on their expiring deals, while Maxey and Joe are interesting prospects.

I would assume you would have to throw in a ton of picks....

No way would they do that deal even with picks that would be late first round.

Get rid of Maxey, put in Ben.

They also thru this in the trade situations. Article loses all validity in my opinion with this

Detroit Pistons
Pistons get: Beal, Smith, Bonga
Wizards get: Blake Griffin, Killian Hayes

Blake is done. His knees are gone and hasn't improved in other areas to be even remotely useful.

I definitely "Mushed" the Sixers.  sorry

The real reason Ben was not available recently was not because of injury.  The team was suppose to quarantine in New York but he took an uber back to Philly.  He is too good for everything.  If his goal is becoming a bench player in 3-4 years, he is well on his way!

Should have listened to Jimmy. Get rid of Ben now, before his value gets even worse.

amazing. a diva without superstar skills.

What a mental midget. He has LITERALLY ZERO idea how privileged he is to play a game and make hundreds of millions of dollars. What a joke

Jim Lynam looks like a nut sack

well, lets see if Ben can be motivated to play against a shorthanded heat team.

He will barely score 15.  He should be putting up 22 without blinking an eye.  But Ben will Ben.

Good grief

we trail in the 2nd quarter to a team whos best player is Tyler Hero while we have both of our "superstars" playing. There is no excuse.
