Yeah but hard to kill him for it. The good thing is next possession he draws the triple team top of the key and feeds the open guy. 

After this back to back, with this effort and going into OT, he won't be available until Feb.

well they got a win. Im glad about that, but Im not satisfied. Miami was more short handed than us. It never should have been this hard.

Just think if that is Beal or Harden not Danny Green, closing the game with that version of Embiid.

Dont really care much if Harden isnt the right guy. If they were to make that move....

Its 2 years of at least an attempt at going for it. (Keeping Ben can not be sold as a realistic attempt at going for it) And a wonderful 2 years of not having to watch Ben cluelessly run around on a basketball court anymore.

If anyone missed the game but dvr'ed it (even if you didn't, keep an eye out for a replay since it might be the game of the week), watch the second half onwards.  This is what Joel is capable of IF he WANTS to do it.  Obviously he has to stay in good shape to be able to compete like this.  The first half he was lethargic and unmotivated.  Then the second half he turned it on.  I am not sure if it was Doc motivating him at half time or his boarding countrymen who was out working him at first that got his juices flowing.

Embiid is an absolute beast. 

I think this game is also a pretty good example of how Ben and Jo can't work together. The Heat wanted to play zone and since Ben won't shoot it was clogging up Embiid's space. When Simmons got into foul trouble Embiid was able to get into the paint and destroy them.

5 points in 32 minutes... that’s your second "star” player? The sooner they get Simmons out the better. Maxey has proven he’s already capable, as a rookie, of playing starter’s minutes. I don’t care if you just get a pick and a couple of bench pieces for Simmons at this point. I’m just tired of his black hole offense.

That was a great game by him but his shooting will be streaky at this point of his career.  His defense is still above average though.

CJ MacCallum is shooting 45% from 3 on 11 attempts per game....that is insane.

 

Team is missing a wing scorer, a TJ Warren type.
