They trail this shorthanded nets team with our full team healthy. How many times will we be embarrassed by short handed teams this season? When will Doc realize he needs to let Morey trade for another scorer?

This team needs a Steve Nash type guard. Can help create for Curry, Shake, Joe, Green, but can also shoot a 3.

why the F has Embiid taken 6 3s already tonight? Dont tell me hes about to revert to last season's form. 

They need to start playing Joe. He is shooting 38% from 3 on what 4 attempts. Doc and the staff better realize they need to score a lot more points to beat the Nets

yeah. Ben supporters like to point out the teams 3% with him on the court vs off. But thats just the effect of a PG in general. Hes not a PG but when hes out theres no one even close to being that. The improved team 3% is not necessarily a Ben Simmons specific thing. Id imagine with a real PG itd be just the same. With a PG who can hit a 3 and contribute scoring consistently itd be even better. 

But Im not event talking about trading ben right now. Im sick of these close games with teams missing their best players while 2 of our starters have 3 points. 

The time has come do do something. 

We cant win when we miss just 1 starter. And we have trouble beating short handed teams even with all of our starters. This team isnt good enough.

I was just looking at that. Kork 1-4 shooting. Know who would have been able to make some shots? Joe.

Im tired and heading to bead early tonight. Not gonna stay up for the 2nd half. I feel like theyll pull this off, but Im already unimpressed by this potential win. They need changes. 

I think the staff needs to add pressure to Ben asap that he has to get to 25ppg or they don't have a chance of truly winning.

He is shooting the ball a lot better this last week.

Knowing the T Wolves traded away their Top3 Protected Pick this year to get him. 

And I wouldn't give up Ben to get him.

So trade a PG who refuses to shoot for a PG who can't shoot while losing the caliber of defense Simmons provides. Rubio's name should not be brought up. 

 

I mentioned a couple weeks back that Shamet might be a piece they should look at bringing back. He had fallen out of the Nets rotation and he could provide a shooter off the bench. His percentage has been down this year but he looked pretty good in this game.

Trust me darryl. We're not going across the Brooklyn bridge. I got this. Believe me. My grandma made that mistake. I won't. Get Rubio or d'angelo. I got this. Remember it cost me more. Whether an alabaster box or a limb. We won't fail. I got this.

They traded a Top 3 pick protected 1st for Russell in what is a deep and talented draft this year. They are not trading him for scraps. 

Are you willing to give up Ben for say Russell and Malik Beasley?  The answer should be no, but that is the only way they are getting Ben. 

Hell, where is the buy low coming from. Russell is at 20ppg, 5 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 39% from 3 on 7.7 attempts which is his best year from 3. He can play, but still makes stupid decisions way too often to play for a true contender.

I gave two options. Rubio is perfect. Add another player who is a shooter coming from Minnesota.
