I didn't say trade ben for him. I said add him by trading like 2nds an a player or 2.  Korkmas is stealing minutes definitely trade him.

This isn't 2K21 though, the only contract that matches his 17 million a year for next 2 is Danny Green and Thybulle hasn't show yet to be the shooter to take his role.

So green, Kork and a couple 2nds

So Thybulle shooting 25% from 3 moves into your starting lineup?

Talk about spacing issues

Interesting name I’d consider as just a rotation player is Wayne Ellington. He’s on a 1 year 1.6 million dollar deal with the pistons. He’s averaging 12 ppg. He would be a solid rotational player

Welp, Rose traded to the Knicks. Guess we didnt need.

Brought him up the other day. Saw his name in a fansided article actually. Hes a guy youd be able to get with the James Ennis trade exception. Extremely cheap. Shooting it really well this year, and more than just a spot up shooter. Would be a great addition for the bench.

The other day when I checked it out he was shooting for like 49.5% from three. He’s been very good this year. I never understood why the Sixers never go after him. He’s from Philadelphia and I’m betting he would love to come back and play here. And every time there’s been a chance when he’s a free agent or bought out and he’s not gonna sign for a bunch they just don’t go after him. Actually a really good fit for what the Sixers need.

Yeah. I was shocked when a fansided article had a well reasoned idea.

Post the link because I haven’t even read that. I just know he’s from the area and every time I check the box scores around the league he’s been lighting it up for the Pistons and playing well

Yeah it makes way more sense to go after him then Jj for the contract and what you’re gonna have to give up in order to bring him on. It also gives you the ability if Seth Curry or Danny Green can’t become more consistent as the years going on you can insert him into the starting lineup and you should be fine

Heat, Clippers, Bucks, and Nets were reportedly in the running for Rose.

Dennis Smith and a 2nd is all it took. How'd contenders let that opportunity slip by?

Wayne Ellington and Doug McDermott might be 2 nice,  cheap options in smaller deals.

Yeah I agree, Ellington makes a ton of sense. lots of flexibility with him in the lineup, lots of spacing with every rotation even if you put a guy like thybulle in. side note: I really like christopher kline's stuff, good knowledge of the game and the players.

Simmons is a soft LA type of player, that's the problem. Jimmy Butler fit the Philly mold, which is also a problem.

I wonder about Kyle Lowry. He's old and not a great scorer. I haven't been on board but considering it more lately.

I wonder if he can be what the Philly version of Butler was.  That was usually just like 16 points,  picking his spots to score when needed,  and good D. I wonder if Lowry can basically be that same player that Butler was for us.

Lowry is owed 30 million this year and a FA next. Not sure where Sixers put that salary

Word.  I guess that'd have to be a Simmons trade. Not worth it.

Lou and Beverly are supposedly available.

I know Lou has been bad this year.  How Beverly been?

I'm thinking Beverly, Ellington, McDermott- championship?

who are youze guys looking to kick out of rotation with these smaller trade ideas? only guy i can see is korkmaz & i wouldn't mind his 20 mpg going to a more consistent shooter.

McDermott has been playing the most minutes of his career this year and is a key rotation player for the Pacers. Why would they trade him?

Beverly is making 13 million this year and don't think he is worth for it for 6 months when he hasn't shown the ability to stay healthy.

I want Thad Young as a back up guy that can play 3 thru 5 in certain situations and he is under contract next year as well. Thad is averaging 4.4 assists a year so has shown a new wrinkle to his game, the ability to create for others.

I think you can also slowly play Joe more. Lool at Desmond Bane another rookie picked around the same spot as Joe and he is playing 22 minutes a game and shooting 48% from 3 on 4.8 attempts for the Grizzlies.

Dump some expirings for some more bench defense/shooting.   Honestly don't know what condition Beverly is in these days.

That's always been my issue with Beverly. He's always injured.

McDermott...I don't know.  I've seen his name brought up other places.
