I don’t think Lowry would go down to that number. Especially considering he could go to Miami who wants him make the same and no state tax. That’s another thing. He had leverage cause he can just leave if he wants too at years end if he doesn’t like what the sixers are offering. It’s been rumored he wants Miami the most as well.

Yeah I heard about the Miami thing.  If he wants to go there, he isn't concerned about winning a ring before he retires.  We are much better than the Heat now and for the near future.

If he wants a chance at a ring, he either comes to us or waits for the off-season and goes to another contender.

yeah...with our luck, we get lowry & he butlers us in the offseason by signing with miami.

Toronto has agreed they won't trade him without his consent which means, he wants an extension agreed upon before a trade.

Several rival executives tell Chris Mannix of SI.com that the Magic appear committed to trading both Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier this week.

Fournier is a legit 3 point shooter, but doesn't do much else. He is still top of my list even though his contract is expiring at the end of the month

You can add George Hill to that list.

Harris went on Redicks podcast. Which Harris said he would never do until they are teammates again. Last time he went on JJ gave him a bottle of wine and this time JJ asked him if he opened the wine. Harris said he is waiting for a special occasion. JJ said, save it for me.

People think theyve hinted that JJ is coming back.

I dont know if anyone remembers many months ago when I was still big on the trade Ben wagon, one of the ideas I came up with was Ben for Gordon and Fournier. Interesting how both of those guys actually became available.

Do no want.  His shooting is down and he can't play D.  He is unplayable in the playoffs.  Can't have him and Curry in our 8.5 man rotation.

i'd take hill. he can run the offense a bit, shoot some threes, & isn't horrible on defense like redick.

i guess austin rivers would also be a possibility for obvious reasons.

A rumor of the Lakers being interested in Lowry now.  I am sure it is BS but that would suck.

You could make a trade for Gordon and Fournier but i doubt Orlando takes it even if you added picks

There appear to be better options available either on buyout, or for the low cost of a 2nd round pick. Considering JJs performance this year, Im not sure why they would do it.

If you could still count on 17ppg from him, thats 1 thing. If youre getting like 29% from 3 and 0 defense Im not sure why he would be on anyone's team.

yeah... back in the day I did Ben for those 2 because those salaries matched and Ben sucked so bad.

Not sure you could really get them now. And Im not trying to trade Ben right now.

I think jj and rivers would be the most likely to sign here. I don’t think hill would willing choose the sixers as a FA.

That would be one of the worst trades for the Sixers ever.  Maxey, Thybulle and Green for those two???

how is fournier on d?  and how much better than korkmaz is he?  (i know he plays a lot more minutes.)

If you look at Thybulles contract and then compare it to his upside (all he has to do is get better at 3's), his value will be through the roof.  He should not be traded in a package for roll players, only a star.

Looks like a good possibility that JJ goes to the Nets and I am happy with that.

I don't have anything against Gordon, but isn't he more strictly a PF?  Anything that involves moving Harris from his PF spot is a no-deal from me.  Harris has been balling there and I'd hesitate to take him out of that roll and put him back a SF like last year.

No offense Aaron gordon is likely better than anything thybulle ever becomes. Gordon can also guard 1-5 and shooting 39% from three. Also Fournier is pretty underrated. But you’d have to extend him after the season. Maxey might never become Fournier who’s averaging 20 a night and shooting 39 percent from 3.

I’d take both. Not realistic but i would.

It’s not realistic. Defensively he can guard 1-5. He’s shooting 39 percent from 3 this year. He better as a 4 but i know at Arizona he played some three and even center when they went small.

Honestly most of the time Harris has been playing his best games hes not lighting it up from 3. Hes shooting like 1-2 from 3 most of the time it seems. His best scoring is coming in the post area. High post, or low post, and post ups on smaller players. I cant imagine why he couldnt do this same exact thing to smaller players from the SF spot.

I get your concern about changing his roll. I just dont understand why he would have to do anything differently at all.

Aaron Gordon is shooting over 39% from 3 these days so he is a legit stretch 4 and wouldnt create any spacing issues at all.

you don't want 3 pf's in the starting lineup...plus jojo?

You mentioned you didn't want to unload the clip for Lowry.  Lowry has more impact than trading for those two and gives us a much better shot a title this year while still keeping Thybulle.

Also, if Thybulle becomes even 75% of Gordon, which is very realistic, he is getting paid 2.8 next year, 4.3 the following and a 6.2 qualifying the year after.  All he has to do is become an average 3 point shooter and he will nearly as good as Gordon for 20% of the cost.  And then you would need to re-sign Fournier for who knows how much.

as of this moment on realgm you see Chicago as a team to watch for Ball, LA getting in the mix for Lowry (which you have to think is by his request), and JJ (not that we really want him) likely to choose the Nets.

Theres a bunch of other options left for the 6ers, but thats 3 of our potential targets sounding like they may be headed elsewhere.

Of the options out there off the top of my head:

-Tier 1 wants: Powell, Brogdon, Grant, Fournier, Nance

-Tier 2 wants: Barton, Ellington, Hill, Delon Weight, Gordon, Markkanen

-Good players we probably should leave along but I wont be mad anyway: DeRozan, Aldridge, Oladipo

-And someone I wish we have been linked to and havent seen 1 rumor about it: Rozier

Malcolm Brogdon is not available.  He would be my number 1 want though.
